I really like Tom’s of Maine’s products, especially their toothpaste. (But I loathe mint flavors, especially peppermint and spearmint. I honestly have no idea why these flavors in anything appeal to so many people.) I have used their Cinnamon-Clove toothpaste for years and love it. So even though this is marketed to children, it is also geared to adults who like me dislike mint.
The flavor is fantastic. It’s only flaw, in my opinion, is the container. I realize that since it is focused on chlidren that the stand-up container is probably geared to them. But it is harder to work for me, harder to get all the toothpaste out, and I would prefer if they put this flavor in their regular adult packaging. Other than that, perfect!

My baby’s pediatrician said to start using a drop of fluoride toothpaste during brushing. I searched a long time to find one with fluoride but without added sugar or sorbitol. Very happy to have found Tom’s. My daughter likes the taste and even when she’s swallowed some, she hasn’t had any stomach issues. It smells so good my husband and I want to use it for our regular toothpaste!

I got this for myself, not for kids, because I brush my teeth before bed and the strong mint flavor in most adult toothpaste causes me to become more alert (kind of a mental jolt), making it harder to get to sleep.
I love Tom’s toothpaste in general. I am using this because it is different from the licorice flavor I usually use.
I like it. I also like that it has *Fluoride!!* I have been using Fluoride toothpaste for 70 years with no problems, except for several years when I tried to do without. The anti-Fluoride people are nuts (basically they don’t understand chemistry). When I didn’t use it I had no improvement in my health, but i did get lots more cavities.

My child’s dentist told me to stay away from Tom’s strawberry kid toothpaste as it contained juice. The first tube of Outrageous Orange Mango I bought listed “orange oil and other natural flavor” as the flavoring element which we’ve been happily using. I recently bought more as we’re getting low, and now this same toothpaste lists lemon juice, mango juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, and strawberry juice as ingredients! I can’t brush my kids teeth with juice. It is so disappointing that this product has been modified to now contain juice as well. I will be looking for a new brand.

I have a severe cinnamon allergy, which has left my teeth rotting. Cinnamon is in probably 98% of toothpastes – especially the minty ones. Every time I find a toothpaste that is safe and doesn’t suck, they discontinue it. As for this one, I can’t tell if it has a minute amount of cinnamon in it, or if it’s just too abrasive for my irritated mouth, but either way it is unpleasant. The flavor is just odd, too. It needs to be orange OR mango. It’s kind of nauseating. So far, the best brands have been:

I don’t know why, but I can always find plenty of stores that carry the strawberry flavor, but I have to hunt for the orange-mango. I always hated mint or bubble-gum flavored toothpastes, which was pretty much all that was available when I was growing up, and my teeth paid for it in many cavities, but once my dental hygienist told me about this brand, I love the taste so much I NEVER skip brushing and haven’t had a cavity for many years. It is quite expensive as toothpaste goes, but what can I say? I’m hooked!

I’ve had lupus for many years and have a VERY sensitive mouth and looked for years for a toothpaste that was both effective yet gentle enough for my sensitive mouth===THIS IS IT My only complaint is that this flavor ORANGE MANGO which is the BEST for extremely sensitive mouths—IS VERY HARD TO FINE–EVEN ONLINE-PLEASE CONTINUE MAKING THIS FOR US. And for people w/very sensitive teeth/mouths, THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT BOTH WORKS AND IS NOT HARD ON SENSITIVE MOUTHS. I can’t use your mint flavors for the above reasons so PLEASE DON’T DISCONTINUE OUR ORANGE MANGO FLAVOR===PLEASE!!!!!
