My daughter has some sensory issues and when she tried this toothpaste she gagged until she threw up. I tried it myself and the taste is nice and fruity but it does have a gritty texture. Just a heads up to any parents to kids with sensory sensitivities. The packaging was weird, came as just the tube in an amazon bag and the tube had lots of creasing/bends in it.

Why can’t an adult experience the zest and flavor of fruit tasting toothpaste instead of being relegated to only one or two toothpaste taste flavors? I myself prefer the Tom’s of Maine toothpaste over than of the many other “mainstream” toothpaste brands. I decided to try this flavor and it tastes just fine to my old tastebuds and thus far, the tastebuds aren’t complaining about the orange-mango toothpaste taste!

I was sick of mint toothpaste and wanted something new, while still having the proper fluoride content an adult should have. I love the taste of this, but it’s VERY mild, which for some can be a good thing but this is more like after you’ve chewed gum for a while and it’s losing the flavor.
Also it barely foams up at all while scrubbing. That might not make a difference, and my teeth still feel clean after, but something about it just FEELS like it doesn’t scrub as good as normal toothpaste. Probably just a psychological thing but it’s worth noting.
Overall I’m glad I tried it but might not get another tube when this one is empty.

I’m an adult with peppermint/mint allergies and very picky tendencies (ingredients, flavor, bottling, etc.), and it’s been a challenge to find a toothpaste that checks all the boxes for me. Well, I can definitely say that this is by far the best toothpaste I’ve found! I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell and taste, and this toothpaste tastes like orange juice with a small splash of mango. I also appreciate that the bottle is very easy to open and close unlike other brands. In addition, I like that this toothpaste does not have titanium dioxide which I always associate with sunscreen. I noticed that it does contain carrageenan, but the Tom’s website has a detailed explanation about the ingredient which put my worries to rest.

I bought this because I was looking for a mild tasting toothpaste. The mint in most “adult” toothpaste has gotten too strong & seems to burn my mouth. This has been a good alternative.
