  1. The Crone

Does not perform as advertised. While it does foam, it does not foam up to the rim of the toilet. You have to use the toilet brush up there. It does clean the gunge in the toilet but no better than any other toilet bowl cleaner. It does NOT clean the hard deposit ring in the toilet at all. No effect whatsoever.

  2. TGO

This is nowhere near effective as advertised. In fact, it is to the point of False Advertising! Every video shown shows a huge anount of foam, growing all the way up to the rim but the truth is that 1 packet worth, the amount it is sold as….1 packet per use, only gives about 1″ of foam. I bought this stuff because of the amount of foam it advertised that cleans out from under the rim but this got nowhere near the rim. And it is advertised as Hands Free, just put it in, let it soak & flush away. But directly on the packet instructions it says to scrub with a brush after letting it soak, but it is barely any cleaner after even using a brush. I got it for the Hands Free advertising because they are difficult to clean from my wheelchair. This stuff was a waste of my money!

I had seen the videos and thought that it might be a great product. The videos show a filthy bowl turned sparkling clean. I followed the instructions to the letter. However, as seen in the video, I didn’t live up to the promises. It didn’t fill the bowl with foam, nor was the bowl sparkling clean as it claimed. I will still have to use another method of cleaning the bowl. It is a pricy failure. Dont bother

I followed the instructions to a tee. I have a stain in a toilet in my 4 yr old house. I’ve bleached it, brushed it, scrubbed it and I had high hopes for the Splash “Foam” cleaner, and I must say….this stuff is a joke! Doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t even foam, like the name says. DO NOT recommend!! Wouldn’t waste your time or money even giving this product a try! Thankfully, Amazon is working with me to get a FULL REFUND!! Thank you Amazon!

Product did not work advised would get refund

This stuff DOES NOT WORK at all. If you think dying your toilet water blue somehow is the same as cleaning your toilet then great, but if by cleaning you thought they meant it cleans, no it doesn’t. A regular scouring powder would work 100% better and only cost you about $3, a savings of $20. I think plain baking soda would also clean the toilet 100% better than this useless product and you can buy huge bags at the famous membership warehouse store for not much money. And if you understand math, then you understand that saying something else works 100% better means that this does not work at all.

I know it’s my own fault for buying something I saw advertised on YouTube, but I had expected it to at least do a little bit of cleaning, this does none. And you cannot return it to Amazon once you find out the truth, because no returns accepted if product has been opened. I am willing to bet any amount of money that the product costs them less than a dollar to make, in fact I bet it costs less than fifty cents to make, and they charge $25. The ONLY POSITIVE thing I can say is that I know they are not getting any repeat business, no one is going to spend $25 on a cleanser that doesn’t work at all more than once!!!!!

So you know I followed the label, I used two tablespoons of the powder, then let it sit in my toilet for an hour. It never foamed, it never did a thing other than dye the water blue. A bottle of food coloring is also cheaper than this product, so if blue water is what you’re after, I’d go that route. At the end of the hour I scrubbed and nothing that was a stain can off, only things that would have come off with only water and a toilet brush were removed, I still have that lovely ring around the inside of the toilet at the water line. So it wasn’t me, it was that the cleanser proved to be 100% useless.

The good points: it smells OK for a cleaner. The toilet below the water line was pretty clean after using this — though it was pretty clean before, and the stains down in the drain hole looked unchanged.

The bad: well, it was a YouTube ad that got me looking to try this, and the ad showed this product foaming up to just below the rim of the bowl. That did not happen. It produced a light skin of foam on top of the water. This was disappointing, firstly because a big pile of foam would have been cool and I could’ve tried to draw latte art in it or something, and secondly because my main impetus to order this product was that I had mineral stains above the water line, and it never even reached them, let alone cleaned them.

After trying this, I did some research (well, I did some more searching on Amazon) and it turned out Lysol had a gel in a black bottle that was well reviewed. I tried it and after it had time to soak in, those stains above the water line came off easily with a light application of an ordinary plastic-bristled toilet brush. I would’ve liked the gel to be a little thicker so it clung to the bowl more, instead of 80% of it trickling into the water, but hey, it worked.

I’ve got another 5 or so doses of this product left, so I’ll give it another try when the toilet gets nasty below the water line. It’s definitely not what was shown in the ad, though. Not a great deal for the price, IMHO, and a very misleading ad.

  8. Amazon Customer

The product package says “No-hands Foaming Action” and “Advanced Cleaning Action”. No foam generated and no cleaning happened either. It turns the water blue but then once flushed the toilet is still the same. The instructions on the back recommend brushing as well. I don’t get the “no-hands” part of the sales pitch if they are recommending brushing too. Either way, it doesn’t clean, doesn’t foam, doesn’t work. I would say this is a dud for sure.
