I got this tincture because this herb is well known for certain properties implied in the Latin breakdown of the name and I have a concern of this possibility.
I had tried it before as a powder form and knew that it tastes not ‘too’ bad and it’s a little sweet, this tincture is the same. Honestly, it tastes a bit ‘syrupy’, but since I know this is a concentrated version of a sweet herb, I’m not worried that there is anything added than what is stated. I like to take the herbs and drink a couple ounces of water afterwards but am trying to discipline myself to put it in water first, as it is a bit sweet. For whatever reason, I feel energy when I take this, so that’s great!
So far, I love getting these organic alcohol-free liquid extracts from this brand. Their herbal tinctures are potent, and fresh, they seem ‘clean’ to me/organic and taste like the pure herb listed. I am grateful for this brand! I pray they keep their prices low, as I wish to buy their extracts consistently, as they are much more bio available than when I take a capsule. The only closest thing that I have gotten is just taking a powder directly and putting it into my mouth and drinking down water and ‘maybe’ a tea. Five stars! Keep up the good work! Thank you! 🙂

This 2 ounce Chanca Piedra Tincture by BioKrauter came in a glass, amber colored bottle with a dropper cap. It has an expiration date of 10/2027. Suggested use is to shake before use, then add 1 full dropper to 2 ounces of water or juice, 3 times daily or as recommended by a physician or a healthcare professional. According to the seller, this 2 ounce bottle should provide a 28 day supply.
I added this to water and it was easy and pleasant to drink. I also tasted it straight and it tasted like a weak, unsweetened tea. I could NOT draw a full dropper any of the times I tried, so I had to do 2 droppers halfway full each time. I cannot confirm the efficacy of this product in any way, but I can say I have not noticed any negative results from consuming it.
