Hand soap is one of those little things that I look forward to every day. I know it sounds weird but since I wash my hands so often, I really enjoy a pleasant fragrance experience. I like soap fragrances to be strong and noticeable!
The soap comes in an 11.8 oz bottle that doesn’t take up much room on the sink. I love the pretty, decorative label and tassel around the neck of the bottle. It really looks like something you would purchase at a boutique or specialty shop.
The Rose & Cranberry fragrance is STRONG!!!! I definitely smell more of the rose (floral) than I do the cranberry. Honestly, I don’t smell the cranberry at all. I thought the fragrance combination was unique and interesting. A little disappointed that I could only really smell the floral notes but it still smells nice nonetheless. 🙂 The rose scent lingers on your skin for awhile after drying. My mom used the soap when she visited and LOVED IT! Rose is her favorite scent so this was right up her alley. She immediately wanted to know where I got it, lol.
You don’t need to use a lot of soap to work it up into a nice lather. It coats your hands nicely and rinses cleanly, not leaving behind any slimy residue.
My favorite thing about this soap is that it isn’t drying!!! So many hand soaps clean well but dry out my hands since I wash them so many times throughout the day. That isn’t the case at all with this soap. It’s hydrating and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

– I like the pump, it’s pretty and I appreciate that it easily locks and unlocks.
– The scent is pleasant, it’s almost all rose and little cranberry but it’s a really nice rose.
– The formula is nice, it’s a pretty standard gel that lathers well and rinses off cleanly.
Dislikes:
– My bottle of soap didn’t come with the advertised decorative tassel — this isn’t something I personally care about, but if the cost of the tassel is taken into account when deciding what to charge customers, the tassel should be going out with EVERY bottle!
– Additionally the brand did not shrink wrap the bottle and so there is an Amazon fulfillment sticker placed directly on the label. It’s covering about half of the ingredients list (and it’s just ugly) but can’t be removed. The front of the label is pretty scuffed from transit which is a disappointment as (to my knowledge) the whole point of buying these products is to enjoy the Paint & Petals art. That’s a little hard to do when it arrives damaged! Shrink-wrapping the whole bottle would address both of these issues and improve the customer experience.
The current price of $9 is a decent price for a bottle of this size, but the lack of shrink wrapping to protect the bottle + tassel when you are largely paying for the aesthetics of the product is a bit annoying. If the brand did a better job of preparing the product for fulfillment by Amazon this would be a 4 or 5 star review.

This soap has good texture and cleans well. I also like the bottle shape, although the neck is a bit shorter than what I’m used to. One issue I have is that the scent is very low, almost undetectable. It has a clean scent for sure, but I don’t really pick up on any cranberry or rose notes. I had some friends smell it as well, so I know it isn’t just an issue with me.
An additional problem I encountered was that the bottle seemed to have leaked in transit. It was packed in an Amazon envelope, not a box, which probably allowed it to be squished in transit. I didn’t dock any stars for this issue as I don’t think it’s the seller’s fault, but rather the fault of the Amazon packing. Just something to keep in mind.

The Paint&Petals Cranberry & Rose Scented Hand Soap is an excellent soap that gets hands clean without drying out your skin or leaving it feeling greasy/too moisturized. The soap is about the same thickness as most hand soaps – it’s neither too runny nor too thick, and it lathers up heavily while rinsing out easily. I love the scent, even though it doesn’t quite smell like cranberry rose as much as just plain rose. The rose scent is fresh and floral without smelling artificial. It’s quite floral when washing your hands, but fades once your hands are dry, so you can eat your sandwiches without having to worry about having perfume-flavored pastrami. After washing my hands, my skin felt clean without feeling dried out or greasy. The soap worked well enough to remove dirt and grime, and I liked how I could wash my hands multiple times a day without worrying about my skin getting dried or cracked. The only issue I had with the soap is that the bottle leaked a bit in the packaging. It didn’t leak so much that it was noticeably emptier or soaked the package, but it was enough to make the tassel coated with soap and my hands soapy when I pulled it out of the envelope. This didn’t seem to be attributed to poorly sealed soap and that’s all I can say about that. Overall, it’s a good quality soap that I would consider purchasing again.

This soap dispenser is beautiful and perfect for a place where guests will be using it. However, mine arrived with the top not on tightly and the soap had leaked all inside the packaging and was a mess. The tassel was completely soaked in soap as was the outside of the bottle. I was able to clean it all up, and you can see the result is fine, but it was a messy job. Also, I lost some of the soap to the leak, so I got less than the actual amount. The leak and mess is why I took away two stars.
The soap is decent, and the scent is not too strong. This would make a lovely gift if it arrives not leaking. Aside from the mess, I am happy with this hand soap. Once it is empty, I will probably keep the dispenser and refill it because it is so pretty (although the tap at the top is not overly strong plastic, so I am not sure how long it will last).
