I love Tide detergent and these pods worked just as well the regular liquid I normally use. The pods are XL size, equivalent to two normal size pods, and I only use 1 for my usual extra large load which works great. I would not use these large pods on my small or medium loads though, too much detergent for those in my opinion.

What can I say about Tide. Tide is a very well known company in providing Laundry Detergent to the masses. they have also innovated to now include their liquid into PODS instead of having to measure out how much you need to put in your washer. Just open the child proof container, take a pod out, throw it in the washer and then your clothes. This makes it much better to help your washer’s detergent filler cleaner to not start clogging up.
The detergent works well on my clothes especially with the Oxy Additive

I have a white cotton tee shirt that got a rather large olive oil stain on it last summer, when it was new. I did not notice it until after it had dried. Oops- it’s been my gardening shirt since I have not been able to get the oil out, even using hot water.
Since I already use Tide (the white box, no color, no fragrance kind), I wasn’t terribly hopeful on this working. I put the shirt in my HEW, no pre-treating, on hot and a regular length cycle. I had thrown in a couple of white towels with it, but nothing else- no bleach, no other products. It came out minus the oil spot! I kind of thought it might just not be visible when wet, so I let it air dry and ironed it. There was absolutely nothing left of the oil stain. The pod dissolved completely.
The pods are huge, so if you are tempted to throw in two, don’t. They are also highly perfumed, and I had to wash the same items the next day in plain hot water to help get some of the scent out of the shirt and towels. I know laundry fragrance seems to be the thing right now, but Tide should not put in so much that the entire bathroom smells like the pod because there is a single towel hanging in the bathroom. You may actually love the scent. To me, the scent is fine but overpowering. Still, I will use these for tough loads, knowing I will have to rinse a second time.

Pods have always won me over – the container is easy to carry and much lighter compared to liquid containers. I’ve used these pods and they do an excellent job cleaning loads. They have a nice, pleasant scent and leave clothes smelling fresh.
Can’t speak about skin irritation as no one in my family has any type of allergies.

I was skeptical that these would dissolve completely in cold water (it’s been a while since I’ve used detergent pods) but they do! We have an older top loading washer and these work just as well as liquid detergent.
These XL Tide pods are great for large loads of laundry. My fiancée and I use separate laundry detergents since she has sensitive skin and needs to use fragrance free detergent. Getting two separate liquid detergents is a hassle and takes up a lot of room. These Tide pods are great for saving space in our small apartment.
I generally save up a week’s worth of gym clothes before I wash a load, and sometimes they can get a little funky if I don’t add vinegar to the washer. I tested a load without vinegar (you know… for science) and these Tide pods passed the test! No more smelly gym clothes and I can save some money on vinegar.

These Tide Oxi Boost pods work great. I really like the XL-sized pods that are twice the size of the regular pods. It seems like anytime that I’m needing the extra stain-fighting detergents, I’m doing a large load anyhow. But, the liquid pods like these always make me worry that I’m about to puncture them and make a mess. These ones are extra jiggly, so that doesn’t help. While the container has a substantial fragrance, it’s not terribly chemical smelling, and only a small amount of scent is leftover after washing and drying.
The real standout feature is in getting rid of stains. I tried this out on a load that I normally would have had to use some pre-treatment on a few items and some scrubbing on at least one. Instead, I just used a single XL pod. I was so sure it would fail that I checked everything before putting it in the dryer. To my surprise, the stains were gone.
