This product for lips is beyond my expectations! Literally the scrub is not harsh, perfect tiny granules and lightly scented. The lip butter is wonderful leaves your lips conditioned and soft. Scent is spectacular! Three Ships has one very pleased client and will definitely be purchasing this again and other products, and it’s a Canadian based company!!

I think this is a decent lip balm I do like the ingredients and I think if you have been using nothing or a really crappy product all day then this might be a step up but I have a bench mark I hold all lip balms and overnight lip treatments to and that is, is it better than just plain old Vaseline and the answer for this one is no, no it is not but it sure is more expensive lol. I do really like that it has no bad taste and is very lightly vanilla scented, I really don’t like flavoured or scented lip balms or ones that taste like chemicals and I would honestly always prefer no scent but it really does smell yummy. It does feel nice going on and is definitely moisturizing but it doesn’t last very long and you have to keep reapplying it basically every hour or 2. If I was to just use this at night my lips would be very dry. Using it with a really good lip balm used throughout the day may give you much better results but I have basically been using this and then been putting Vaseline over it because on it’s own it’s just not doing the trick this insanely cold Canadian winter. I find it leaves me with that feeling like you need more as soon as it wears off like my lips are lip balm junkies lol. So you know decent but not life changing especially for the price.

I have been trying to replace my old favourite lip balm for a very long time, and it seems like every product I try dries out my lips. I haven’t been using this one for very long (three ships buttercream lip mask), but as soon as I tried it my lips were immediately soothed.
A lot of the masks/balms I get, even expensive ones, seem to create a barrier over my lips that just dries them out more. This one feels like it’s really able to actually GET TO my lips and hydrate them.
ALSO: Smells amazing. I don’t really notice after I’ve put it on, but straight out of the jar it has a nice, light and sweet kind of caramel dessert scent. I have a lot of issues with strong essential oils, and am so happy to find that this product does not smell anything like that. The smell is a bit nostalgic, kind of reminds me of being pre-teen in the 2000’s (and I mean that in the best way possible!).
