Wondering why the amino acid leucine factors into so many of Thorne’s supplements. There is emerging data that leucine stimulates insulin release. If you trying to manage your insulin you should at least investigate the effect of leucine on insulin. To be fair there is also data to suggest that Leucine does not stimulate insulin release depending on which study you read. Morale: check the label for other ingredients and investigate before purchasing.

I have severe allergies, where my sense of smell will lock down and produce a “phantom smell” which is cigarette smoke. Nasty, and when it has come and lasted for several weeks, it has nearly driven me insane. My chiropractor put me onto this stuff, and I take it with HMC Herperidin for the phantom smell. It helps build up my antibodies to the allergies, and it works so well. Every time I have an episode I take these three times a day, and it is usually gone in 2 days. Fantastic stuff.

Reviews I’d Want My Kids To Read Before Buying –
Quercetin isn’t absorbed as readily as we could use it and, therefore, has to be taken in somewhat high quantities for benefit. This product is, as of 2017, the only phytosomal Quercetin product on the market. Thorne is pretty much at the top of the game when it comes to making phytosomal forms of certain supplements for higher absorption and making higher quality supplements regardless of the form. We have noticed a difference in our family since taking it. All of us started it to aid in bowel healing after diagnosis of wheat allergy and we all began taking Quercetin to some benefit. When switching to the phytosomal form, Thorne’s Quercetin Phytosome, at the same dose, we noticed increased improvement and a decrease in the side effect of mild stomach upset, which leads us to believe that it is more readily absorbed, leaving less of it to pass through the bowel or cause upset. That being said, it costs more and, if you can’t afford it, a good quality supplement taken at a higher dose will aid you in healing your gut lining if that is your goal, even if it isn’t phytosomal. Good luck in finding the product that suits your need.

Great product from a great company. I use these for my dog with severe allergies as the are a natural antihistamine and recommended by my holistic vet. I was using the quercetone but they upped the ingredients and this is the NEW quercetone. He can’t be without these or we notice a big difference. Delivery is always fast! Can’t be without!!!

So I have been gluten free for 13 years now. I started taking this product about 6 months ago. During that time, I would have normally been triggered by soy sauce, but noticed that I had no reaction at all when I accidentally ate some. Same with oats. I would have a reaction for a day or two if I ate even gluten free oats, but noticed that I was actually fine while taking Thorne Querceitn.
What I think happened was that I probably healed my gut over time, so I can’t directly attribute the lack of allergic reaction directly to this supplement, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Another thing though — I live in San Diego and with all of the rain last winter, the allergy season was brutal with the excessive growth of grasses and tree pollen. Like my lack of reaction to the oats and soy sauce, what would have normally been a miserable season for me was totally fine. LIke 100% no problem fine!
I only took 1 pill a day. That’s it! When I stopped because I ran out, I had a horrible reaction to the oats and soy sauce again. I’m back on it again and for good.
I would highly recommend this product!
