I don’t usually write reviews, but I just have to point this out. Since my Lasik surgery last week, I’ve used four different brands of preservative-free eye drops, including the ones given to me after the surgery.
I like to use a lot of eye drops to ensure the best recovery, so I’ve gone through quite a bit. Being unsure of which brand of eye drops was the best, and with only 3 vials left of the last box I had, I decided to quickly buy something before determining my favorite. I thought Theratears, being the cheapest option, would serve as a temporary solution until I found my ideal eye drops.
I should’ve learned by now that cheap doesn’t mean lower quality. To my pleasant surprise, Theratears turned out to be the best one. I knew it immediately as soon as I used the first vial. Unlike the others, I didn’t feel the need to use another vial.
It’s practically half the price of all the other brands I’ve bought, and it also seems to have the most solution. I’m so happy that my favorite eye drops won’t put another dent in my pocket after my Lasik surgery.

I am just coming off a bout of really-painful-right-eye. I think it may have all started from using a little bottle of Bausch & Lomb contacts lubricants without actually using contacts. I came home with strained eyes one day (I have a habit of not blinking when I focus on the screen), put some drops in, and they made things worse. The next week, I tried again, only with the same bad results. Then I tried on a pair of cheapo contacts and used many drops of that Bausch & Lomb stuff.
I don’t know if it was something in the contacts packaging or if it was from too much of the Bausch & Lomb drops, but my eye started hurting really bad for the next 2 days, the top of my sinuses were swelling, and I had to go to an optometrist. I couldn’t work, I hated watching Youtube, I hated having my eye open or closed. Life was terrible for those 2 days. Opcon A didn’t do anything at all. The doctor’s prescription, though, has cleared things up — a week of antibiotics drops, plus I’m on my third week of ketotifen (allergy) drops now. They cleared the really bad part of the pain but the antibiotics still left my eyeball feeling like it had something foreign near its core. It’s fine now that I’m off it. I have my third and hopefully final visit tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I’ve just started using Thera Tears yesterday, and I don’t know if it’s because they’re preservative-free or if the formulation is just magic, but I don’t think my eyes have felt this good in 10+ years! Unlike other “lubricating drops”, these make my eyes feel better instantly, and judging by what my fingers feel like after wiping away the overflow, the formula does feel slick. Each disposable vial contains plenty, so I’m using 2 drops on each eye in the morning, and another 2 drops each in the afternoon, with lots of extra left over. My last two evenings have been completely sore-eye free! I can’t recommend the product enough.

First off, these drops work great. Very soothing. Alieves dryness and itching with no issues at all. I’ve used this particular brand many times before but never in this configuration.
I really like these individual single use droppers. I wasn’t sure what to think at first — did single use mean they contained only enough to put two or three drops in one eye? No. Not at all. There is plenty in each little vial to put multiple drops in both eyes. It just makes it easier to use what you need.
I absolutely recommend this product. From now on these individual packets will be my first choice.

Well known brand that if effective for dry eye.

I’ve been using these for a few years now! They really help me to refresh in the morning and after taking my makeup off at night to clear out my eyes.
I love that they’re non-toxic and I can use them as much as I need. Downside is that they’re expensive, but they are worth it in my opinion.

Very good product

The drops seem to help somewhat but I still feel like I have a foreign body, or a rogue contact lens in my eye.
The moisture drops feel good.
They’re a nice size to carry in your pocket or purse.

Love these. Repeat buyer. They definitely help with eye dryness and feel so good. I’m very sensitive to eye drop preservatives AND sugar alcohols/sugar substitutes/artificial sweeteners in anything so I always inspect ingredients closely. You’d be surprised how many eyedrops (and a huge variety of other random products) contain ingredients like sorbitol, saccharin, etc!! These have none. There’s enough in each dropper that if you miss once or twice there’s still a couple drops left to get the eyeball. Non-irritating and no rebound dryness like other drops cause.
