We all remember discussions of cell mitochondria and their credit as the “powerhouse” of the cell. I recently read the book Mitochondria and The Future of Medicine. It could get a bit technical at places but it impressed on me how integral this small cell component is in our overall health and energy level as well as nerve maintenance. CoQ10 is evidently an essential nutrient and super antioxidant that plays an important role in the electron chain transfer and Krebs Cycle that turns the molecule ATP into the energy every cell needs to function optimally. So the organs that require the most energy like heart muscles have a higher concentration of mitochondria. I cannot say that i understand the incredible complexity and chemistry but consider the pedestrian understanding that adding CoQ10 to my routine might be aiding the health and energy production of my mitochondria and for that reason take it religiously. I have no idea how it is derived to be encapsulated into powder and pill form. Perhaps it is an expensive process because I see the price of products differs wildly. I have seen some trusted labs offering a similar dosage for perhaps fifty cents a dose whereas this manufacturer is pricing theirs at almost 3 times that amount. I do appreciate that these tablets are almost small compared to other products I’ve tried that can be quite large. As any supplement, efficacy is something that takes place under the radar and so you won’t find you’ll be springing out of bed and say, hey that product is really working. I earnestly hope it is doing its job on a cellular level and so continue to take it. So, recommended with the understanding that this is a bit pricier that competitors though maybe more concentrated to allow the capsules to be smaller and more easily swallowed.

I take CoQ10 because it helps support many body systems, it keep me in good health.
I’m taking one small capsule per day which is very easy to swallow, with a glass of water. I cannot detect a smell nor a taste on or in these capsules. I’ve not experienced any digestive upset since starting this supplement I’m very happy with this company’s products as I’ve tried a few and I’m pleased with this supplement as well.

This is a little dark-colored glass jar containing 30 capsules of Q10. It will last 30 days as the serving size is just 1 capsule daily. It is nice that it is in a dark bottle as I understand this aids in the ‘freshness’ of the supplement (ie keeping out the light).
Q10 is an enzyme that is good for and is found in the cells in our body. It is what helps turn our food into energy. It’s a very powerful antioxidant.
The capsules have a mild smell to them which is neither good nor bad. They are of a smaller size and the shell is rather soft. They are easy to swallow.
This supplement contains no preservatives which I like but it’s very expensive and I will wait and update my thoughts after giving it more time to work.

When I opened the bottle it didn’t have a safety seal, but I could see there was a film left where one was. I didnt feel confident to take these with the safety seal missing.

As most people know who are looking for CoQ10 supplements, it has many excellent heart-related health benefits. The recommended dosage of this supplement is a single capsule, which delivers 200mg of CoQ10. The capsules are made from a vegan friendly material, not large and easy to swallow, with no taste or aftertaste. The container is made from brown glass, which is non-reactive and protects the contents from UV light. This supplement does not have GMP certification and is not third party tested. A COA is not provided as any proof of content or perhaps even more importantly, that unwanted substances such as heavy metals are not present.
This company seems to be pushing an environmental friendly agenda, but at the same time does not back up any of their products with third party lab testing. Instead, a B Corp certification is provided, but assesses a company on environmental impact and other factors that has nothing to do with the quality of the supplements a company has to offer. Ironically, a B Corp certification is supposed to improve a company’s transparency, but this company is about as opaque as they come. This, along with their premium pricing, are big red flags. I would avoid anything this company is putting out there.

…a pretty good quality product with a bent towards being vegan (cellulose capsules) and environmentally friendly packaging.
Other than that this is basically 200 mg of co enzyme Q10 and there is no other claim such as increased bioavailability. It does suggest his product be taken with food with only one capsule needed per day.
The bottle has a piece of tape and the inside foam top could be tampered with so I wouldn’t call this product tamper resistant. Still … it arrived well and did not look tampered with. My guess is the tape is more environmentally friendly than wrapping the bottle top in cellophane. As good measure, I was able to reuse the small piece of tape to tape a memo to my computer monitor.
At $1.60 per capsule/day this product seems a bit pricey compared with others of similar quality.

I’ve heard a lot about CoQ10 over the years – how it benefits heart health and protecting against cognitive decline. It’s actually produced by our body (a great thing in my book), but with age its production is diminished. And so now, it’s really time to help my heart do its best. A new thing to me that CoQ10 is also great for all the cells of the body, like skin, etc. So, I am really happy to be trying it out – after researching it and seeing how valuable it is for overall help.
