This lotion is fairly simple. Contains aloe Vera, chia seed, willow herb, niacinamide, succinctly acid, algae extract, and rose hip extract. It’s easily absorbed and hydrating. It’s listed as fragrance free though I detect a hint of something. But it’s nothing like you’d find in a woman’s face wash. This lotion is specially formulated for teen skin to help balance oil and ph to prevent skin issues such as acne. It alleges to defend against blue light free radicals as well but I’m not sold on that. Anyways, my son likes it and actually uses it as he feels it’s targeted to him.

Great lotion for moisturizing without contributing to acne. My face is exceptionally greasy so I rarely use lotions. They usually clog my pores if they are not a gel. So far this is one that doesn’t cause my skin to rebel.

My son has been using this product for a few weeks. I have used it as well! My favorite thing about it is that is absorbs quickly and becomes clear almost immediately upon application. The texture is a smooth, light gel cream. I like that it doesn’t leave a white cast on the skin which makes it very teen/kid friendly. I definitely see a change for the better in my son’s skin with regular use.

It was co-created by Julie Bowen from Modern Family to help instill adolescent boys a sense of skincare and wellness. I think it’s a good mission statement but I didn’t really care for the name of the company, seems to imply that this lotion was a scrub. At least to me when I first took a quick look. The retro font and packing is cool though.
The lotion didn’t have any noticeable scent. It went on smoothly and absorbed quickly. I didn’t notice any tackiness or stickiness. My skin felt soft after using. It’s a good basic lotion for anyone who is looking for a no-frill moisturizer and good for young people who are prone to breakout or fussy skin.

My son’s face is already clearing up and he loves that it isn’t sticky after applying. His problem was mostly dry skin bumps, so this did the trick!

I got this cream for my 16-year-old son to help with his skincare routine (he doesn’t really care for his skin very well, so I’m hoping this helps a little!). First, the packaging is very nice and I like the vibrant colors and clear directions on how to use this product (the clear and simple 3 step directions are helpful for someone who may not use skincare products very often).
So far, he has used this cream a few times and said it’s very moisturizing, but isn’t greasy and helps with the oily zones – which is a huge plus. I can already see some slight improvements with his skin. Only downside is that this cream is somewhat pricey at $18 per tube. However, overall I’m happy with the ream and if it helps my son with his skin and confidence, it’s worth every penny to me!
