I’ve purchased 17 of these over the last year or two and am beyond sad that the price went from $6 to $12, and also is $2 shipping instead of free. This is my absolute favorite chapstick EVER!!! I recommend it to everyone and use it daily! So so sad I’m going to have to find a new chapstick as I will not pay this increased price plus shipping.

I’ve searched high and low for a fragrance free balm that is thick and not slippery thin. I’ve already gone through 2 tubes and have ordered 3 more. Can’t get enough. No more chapped lips, and it’s cruelty free, vegan, and no added fragrance!!! Woohoo!!!!

What have they done? This is criminal. The original hemp balm was a delight of texture, scent and flavor. There was a subtext, a latent scent and flavor in the balm that was organic and bucolic.
The Rescue Stick smells weird, tastes like unbaked pie dough and does not do the job. I have been using the hemp lip balms for 25 years. I went through the rough stages when the product was in metal lipstick containers. Those containers conducted human body heat and made the hemp balm melt, ooze. Even with the packaging shortcomings, I remained loyal because the balm was so good.
During the last 25 years, it has been a standard day for me to carry two things with me in my pocket: cinnamon gum; The Body Shop Hemp Lip Balm. These were my essentials.
Twenty-five years of brand loyalty to a quality product have now been destroyed by a disgusting pretender — The Body Shop Rescue Stick. Do you remember New Coke? If so, a lesson will be learned from that memory. If you are researching New Coke, a lesson will be learned through your study. Do not screw with something that works. I am now forced to look for an alternative because I will never be buying this product, again. I am now compelled to tell as many people as I can how disgusting the product is. The Body Shop, do the correct thing. Return to the lip balm formula that was excellent.

Yes it moisturizes and conditions VERY well but I don’t see anything that sets it apart from the others – other than it smells and taste like hemp – over priced for what it is

I have just ordered my second one as I’ve found this to be the best to help sore, dry and chapped lips. Not only that but I’ve had some very sore dry patches on my fingers that have at times started splitting and were really sore. As this was caused by dry skin I tried a little of the lip balm on the areas at night before going to sleep. After 2 days they were much less sore and not as red and healed up by day 3!
When I was nursing I used to regularly use the body shop hemp hand protector as my hands were constantly getting dry with wearing gloves and repeated hand washing, it really helped and this hemp lipbalm is just as good and in my opinion worth the extra cost as you only need a light application. When you first put it on it may feel a little hard and waxy but it quickly soaks into the lips and becomes soft and very moisturising. I keep mine in my pocket before I use it as it warms slightly and is more soothing to apply.
I love this and will stick to it now as its the only one that doesn’t make my lips peel even more!

This is the best product for your lips 👄 . I have had cracking and peeling lips for over seven years , all year round . I have gone to the doctors and tried everything. Nothing worked until I used this product and so happy ☺️. Results less than twenty four hours . Love it and thank you !!!

I have been using the hemp chapstick from the Body Shop for many years. I always bought 3 to 4 at time to keep in my purse, beside and desk. I agree with other reviewers that this new packing is bulkier. I was surprised it is not the same formula. It is more oily, does not last as long, it is not as thick and does not moisturize as well. I am sorely disappointed. The second time I ordered it the packaging looked like the original on the Amazon link but I received the bulkier version. I am using it but am going to start a search to try other brands of hemp lip care.
