[edit] You can test these by dumping the contents of one capsul into a small dish of milk. Most probiotics will congeal the milk within 24 hours. These set up in just one, for me. Which means they are extremely powerful, despite not having noticable side effects. It also means they will immediately help with a lactose intolerance trigger. Eventually I’m going to do another test, and put up a time lapse video. IF THE MILK SHOWS NO CHANGE WITHIN A FEW HOURS, return them, you got a spoiled batch. Likely exposed to too much heat durring storage or shipping, that would be Amazon’s fault and not the manufacturer’s. [End edit]
Had to take a heavy round of antibiotics for a MRSA infection. I had taken a less intense course of the same type previously, and my intestines made a lot of music. This time I didn’t notice anything, other than the infection clearing up. They also help a lot if I accidentally consume lactose.
Note; because of the enzymes, you should not have side effects. Some of the reviews say they didn’t think they were working, that’s likely because they were expecting intestinal upset. Unless these are the first probiotics you’ve ever taken, or you have some real serious intestinal issues, you shouldn’t have side effects. If you do, consult a doctor, because you have something wrong going on in there. If these are your first probiotics, it would do you to switch to a lower dose probiotic, working your way up to higher doses, until you get your microflora balanced just a bit better. That way you aren’t having a massive die off of bacteria, the good and bad stuff fighting each other and releasing toxins as they fall on the battle field. And try to avoid sugar as you get started, to prevent the bad bacteria from replenishing it’s numbers while your trying to build up your defensive army and cull the enemy. This will greatly minimize side effects and shorten the length of time you may have them.
There is a chance Amazon shipped you an expired bottle, but that would be Amazon’s fault. Simply check the expiration date, then request a replacement. You can do that by going into your orders page, clicking the order, and finding the return or replace button.

I’ve been taking probiotics for 40 years and believe that most of them didn’t work, probably for many reasons, chief among them is the probiotic cultures weren’t live which makes them ineffective. I can say every bottle of these that I have bought have had live active cultures. I know this because I make yogurt with them and it comes out perfect every time. Now that doesn’t mean they’ll work for you but that’s a whole different discussion. At least you know your getting the best chance possible.

I switched from an 8-strain probiotic made by another brand which was not Non-GMO, to this 19-strain probiotic non-GMO. This 19-strain probiotic appears to be working well. I have not had any negative effects. I don’t have access to a lab to confirm how many probiotics are still viable in each pill or the quality, but I have not seen any visibly quality issues. I think that the main selling points are Made in the USA, Non-GMO, Cost, and it containing more probiotic strains than most other brands (19-strains). I did not have any preconditions that I was trying to treat, but rather to try in stay in a state of optimum health. Based upon different medical research, it is highly suggested to consume probiotics in order to obtain and maintain optimum health, while at the same time avoiding GMO’s, which is a good reason to take this non-GMO probiotic supplement.

I have had the opportunity to try out a few different probiotics over the years. While I cannot say that I have had any bad experiences with any of them, I do see that some may provide more benefit than others. The challenge is in the balance between a good product at a comfortable price. I have tried products on both ends of the spectrum. While my results may have been good with more expensive products, the question was did I really need to spend $50 a month when $20 would be fine.
After reading several articles and reviews about many different products, I quickly learned that there is much debate, everyone has a preference, and there may even be some misconceptions about what to look for in a probiotic. After recent digestive surgery and both my GI and surgeon strongly recommending I take probiotics daily, I decided to seek a product that would work well and not break the bank. Terranics has been great!
While I am no expert when it comes to all of this stuff, I did learn along the way that there is much hype about the numbers of CFUs in a product, with ranges from 2 to 100 billion. While many think that more is better (this makes sense), two different intestinal specialists shared the same thing as the research. Look for the number of strains in the product first. It was shared with me that 10 was a minimum, and now perhaps more is better. When you consider products with multiple strains and a high CFU, the number of product choices narrows down a bit. Many lower-cost products have fewer strains but may boast about a high number of CFUs. Some will have large strains, but low CFUs. It can be difficult to find both, at a reasonable price.
I have found Trranics to be one of the better products I have found. I first tried the product a month ago, having ordered them from Amazon the day before being discharged from the hospital after colon surgery. I started taking them when I got home. While in the hospital, I had a lot of time to read articles and reviews. After all, how much day time TV can one watch? The reviews were good, the price was good, and thought I would give it a try. I have been very pleased with the results. Within about 5 days of being discharged, things had returned to normal in terms of digestion. My docs too were impressed with how I progressed so rapidly, as constipation and diarrhea are typical challenges post-op. Yes, I did have some initially (as anticipated), but it was minimal and I was feeling much better the week after surgery. I was thrilled with this, as it was suggested that I could have these issues for several weeks to perhaps months post-op. In fact, at the first sign of constipation, I was advised to use Miralax. In anticipation of this being a regular issue, I got the large bottle. One month later, I have used just one serving. I am confident that these probiotics have helped to make sure things are moving as they should with virtually no issues.
I have continued to use the product every day, I generally take 2-3 capsules a day, at different times of the day. While it may be just fine to take 2 at a time, I think it may be best to split your dosage and I sometimes take with meals three times a day. I am happy with my results, so why not ensure a healthy gut.
As I got low on product, I ventured to the local fresh food market to explore some alternatives. I quickly learned that similar products were double or more in price. It was easy to see that this is a good value. I am thrilled with the results and the price makes it affordable to take as suggested. I have now ordered more and plan to use regularly.

I got these for the wifey for her regularity issues. The ingredients within this appear to be excellent. Swallowing these is fairly simple, and the capsules look fresh. She has not experienced any issues, and her bloating seems to be much better. She is taking these also for maintenance. Works well.
