So um… The app you cant even name people ei when you switch the thermometer to a specific mode the app doesnt tell you which mode was used when the temperature was taken…also the room/object reader DOES NOT WORK… My bottle of cold water or my ice pack is not 137°F ….. (It was roughly that when i took it…. ) was hoping to be able to take temps and not have to manually put in on the app every single entry if it was myself (adult mode) or my child(child mode) or ear reading (ear mode) etc… Doesnt do what i thought it would based of description.. Also there is no way to turn it offfffff you have to let it shut itself off! Huge disappointment not worth the money
*Update: I bought this in March 2021
It is currently Late August 2021 i have Barely used this because of reading issues.. Went to go use it because i needed it.. Changed the set of batteries with 3 DIFFERENT sets just to be sure.. It does not work properly.. It was saying that mine and my childs temps were below 94.5°F bouncing all around so much so that at one point it said my child was 145°F for ONE reading then jumped back down to the 80s and then 72° then back up and down again .. Leveling off for the final readings still being below 94.5°F .. All temps were taken on dry skin with no wind occurring in the room.. This thermometer was properly taken care of but still does not function correctly.. See picture for the past 10 readings.. That were taken kinda back to back in Complete annoyance at the device. Also we were not by anymeans hypothemic .. Which is definitely what this thermometer is indicating with its false readings being everywhere unfortunately I dont have more readings due to the fact of replacing batteries multiple times

Infrared otothermometer measures infrared heat generated by eardrum and surrounding tissues. In order to avoid inaccurate measurement results, the probe is preheated to a temperature close to body temperature. When the ear thermometer is placed in the ear, it also monitors the infrared energy all the time. When the otometer detects that the accurate temperature has been obtained, the measurement is finished.
In the whole measurement process, if the probe is well inserted into the ear canal, after a long sound, the ear thermometer detects that an accurate body temperature has been obtained. The result will be displayed on the display screen.

I bought this with two other devices from Wellue! They all sync to a single app that can keep records for multiple household members by name. The product works well…so far. It functions well, easy to read, easy to sync…. it has settings for babies, adults, in ear and forehead temp readings. I like it because it also has a backlit display so you can easily read it at night with the lights off if you want. …… I the backlot also changes to green, yellow or Red depending on your temperature. Nice device. Glad we replaced our old device.

The device itself works well, its easy to use and powers on instantly. I’m pretty happy with it.
The part that bothers me is that it does not sync to Apple Health in the viHealth app. I had purchased this along with a pulseOx thinking “on hey, these use a single app and both sync to apple health, perfect I’ll keep the devices in the wellue family”, but only the pulse-ox data will sync over. Seems like an odd oversight.
There is alot to like about the app and devices, and I’d be a 5-star fan if Wellue added a smart scale and let everything sync over to Apple Health.

I had to keep a 30 day log of my temp 4 times a day.
Since this connects to my phone it made it super easy. Just remember external thermometers like this measure about 1 degree low.

Bluetooth was not mentioned in the user manual at all, and there are no icons on the device, but if you download the ViHealth app, turn on the thermometer, and select the thermometer option it shows up immediately and you can view reading history, though there seems to be no way to export it from the app. In general, it seems a solid device. Extremely quick, quite accurate for human as well as air and beverage temperatures, and it is probably the most user friendly thermometer I’ve ever used, aside from the bluetooth confusion. Very simple. I like that you don’t have to push any buttons to see the last reading for each of the three “users”, so it’s easy to see if the temperature is going up or down.

My family really loves this cool thermometer! My family really loves this cool thermometer! This smart forehead thermometer is very easy to use and it works fast. I love the clear LCD digital display, and it comes with 2 batteries to get it working. All you have to do is press the On button, then press the sensor against your forehead or eardrum. Within seconds, an accurate temperature read is displayed….It’s so easy that my toddler could do it! Ha ha Ha The smart app is also super easy to use and perfect when going to a doctors appointment, especially with multiple children….That can definitely be a handful and this thing has been awesome!!! Each family member has their own page with a chart of temps taken. It is great to just show the doc what the progression of the temperature has been. This thermometer would be fabulous for anyone needing a thermometer for their family, appointments, or their business. It is super easy to use and super easy to read! Definitely recommend it!♥️♥️
