One of my nurses uses the GoodBaby Touchless Thermometer and is pleased with it. That was one of the reasons I bought this item. I also liked the features and simplicity.
Once I read the instructions, I took my temperature to test GoodBaby against itself as well as my mercury Thermometer. The GoodBaby forehead and ear readings were an identical 98.0. However, my mercury thermometer registered a temp of 98.6. Because both numbers were in the normal range, I wasn’t too concerned about the difference. The accuracy is close enough for my needs. So, I think of GoodBaby as reasonably accurate if not precisely accurate. Depending on one’s needs, this should work well enough for anyone who wants to know if they have a fever.
The display is large and easy for me to read despite vision priblems. However, I do wish the large readout and color display would last one or two seconds longer. Nevertheless, when it dies cycle out, the home display does continue to show a smaller number for the last temperature taken.

On a somewhat minor note, I was disappointed with the Surprise Giveaway. The QR code did not work nor did typing in the URL. I’ve written to the company and am awaiting a response.
This device is not as full featured as others on the market. However, it’s less expensive than those fancier devices. I find that the GoodBaby device offers reasonable quality, the basic features I need, and a price that seems fair. I gave it 4-stars but would have given it 4.5 if I could.
UPDATE: The two email addresses for customer support are invalid. The product URL appears invalid. At this point, there doesn’t appear to be an easy way to contact customer or warranty support. I hope I won’t be needing them.
