This thermometer is so easy to use that my 7th graders can easily use it as well. I wish I had these when my kids were younger. This is so much easier than the temporal (sp?) readers. On a normal day, it gives me consistent readings. There were one or two days where it did read a tad high when I wasn’t feeling my best, so I do feel like the device works correctly and seems relatively accurate. If I needed another, I would buy another. In fact, I will likely purchase one for my mother.

We transitioned from an ear thermometer to this one and could not be happier. So easy to check if calibrated. The only thing to be aware of: Don’t expect accurate readings when in very cold surroundings. Readings will be very low as I assume the cold air molecules interfere. (Also, I’m not sure what the “Warmth” evaluation is above…)

My husband got Covid and my digital oral thermometer stopped working. This was the recommended product according to Amazon. I don’t Amazon picks it, but maybe it’s picked by number of sells? Anyway, this thermometer doesn’t work right. It has never read a temperature above 98.3, usually is 97.3. I ended up buying another digital oral thermometer and testing the two side by side. When the oral thermometer detected a temperature of 101.3, this forehead thermometer read 98.3. When the oral thermometer read 98.6, this forehead thermometer read 98.3. When using the oral thermometer my temperature was 99.9, the forehead thermometer read 97.5. This simply is not a good thermometer. It is not accurate at all. I even tried the option to measure the heat of something as that is an option for baby bottles. I microwaved water until it was boiling to make tea, I tested the thermometer, you guessed it 98.3! I know that water was a heck of a lot hotter than that. I wouldn’t recommend for body temperature nor bottle/liquid temperatures.

Overall this is a really good thermometer – accurate & pretty easy to use. I work in a nursing home & use it on my residents. It is no contact, so I can go from one resident to the next without having to sanitize it in between. Perfect for this Covid pandemic. Also great if you want to check someone’s temp without waking them up. My only 2 complaints are 1) It’s a little tricky to check temps back to back quickly, and 2) the bottom comes off pretty frequently and the batteries fall out.

I never knew how entertaining a thermometer could be. Haha! I have found myself measuring the temperature of completely random things… Just for fun. I originally bought this for a two-fold reason… to measure for fever during a recent bout of COVID and to check the temperature of food in my fridge (which I thought was failing but thankfully it wasn’t. 😊). I appreciate how well the buttons are labeled and how easy the display is to read. It’s also easy to switch between modes. Happy with my purchase!

I love this forehead thermometer. After 3 months of temp closure, I have reopened my retail store & needed a quick but accurate way to take temp/wellness checks on each associate before taking their shifts. So easy to use & to make sure it is accurate, we have compared it to a normal mouth thermometer. It is very accurate, quick, safe. It has both C & F degrees. I love having a proficient wellness tool to depend on. I recommend this thermometer because it works, the cost vs value is great & it arrived as promised. Note: it uses 2 AAA batteries, not included.
