I ordered a bunch of these to now share with friends with young children or their grandkids. It is the perfect gift to add to a baby shower gift or ship directly to someone with a young child. It works easily and takes the guesswork out of a “too cold” or “too hot” bathtub! I have even now used it in our hot tub to quickly know the temp when needed for my husband as well. Get yours today!

It worked great for 1 day. I put it in my cold plunge tank that’s in a heated garage. The ducky lasted one day and by the second day the display showed all the digits scrambled and it was no longer functional. My water temp isn’t that cold at only 49deg. I returned for a new one. Hopefully the new one works correctly. I’ll update my review once I have an opportunity to test the new one!
Update: got the new Dip Ducky and…. It worked for about 3 days and then developed the same problem. Dropping a star as a result and will be sending it back.

I received this as a baby registry gift. I did not open it for three months because I was pregnant and the baby did not take a bath right away. When I did open it to use it and turned it on it just kept being over and over and over and the screen was broken. I had to take out the batteries to stop the beeping. I tried to exchange it or return it and Amazon was no help because it was past the 30 days. Extremely hard to find manufacturing Number and get this problem resolved. I would not buy this product or recommend it to anyone

Update 2: the replacement duck stopped working after a few weeks. Upon closer inspection there was water inside the battery compartment. Along with some corrosion. The small O-ring for the battery door was present but I’m not sure it did anything. I guess if I took the batteries out after every use and let it dry it might have lasted longer, but who has time for that? Dropped down to 1 star. I like the concept but it just doesn’t hold up.
Update: The seller sent me a replacement duck free of charge after I posted my negative review. We will see how this new one works once we can try it again. I hope this one holds up better. If it does I will update my review. Updated to 3 stars from 1 star for being responsive and trying to fix the problem.
Duck thermometer worked good for one bath. Then the next time we went to use it the display was just flashing. Could not get it to respond. Tried removing batteries to reset but nothing worked. There were no signs of water intrusion into the battery compartment, so I’m not sure why it failed. I like the idea of this duck thermometer with the temperature display and flashing red green and yellow color screen to indicate too hot too cold or just right. Just wish it would have worked longer then one bath time.
