This was recommended by a family member, and after months of using Tera’s, I don’t think I could ever buy another protein powder product. Not only is it the best on the market for purity (no added chemicals or preservatives your body doesn’t need), but it is simply delicious. I train in jiu-jitsu and drink 1-2 protein shakes a day. You can mix it with water or milk, but I always drink mine with a blend of: banana, frozen strawberries, Greek yogurt, and orange juice. The result is a chocolate-strawberry dream. Another great benefit of Tera’s is it doesn’t have that overwhelming fake chocolate taste that most commercial protein powders have. It is delicious, not overpowering, and blends very well. It might be a little more, but I consider it worth the cost (which is only ~$1 per smoothie) when you get pure, natural, and effective protein.

Tera’s Whey has several things going for it — it tastes great (not like it was created in a lab), it’s loaded with protein (keeping you fuller longer), it’s sweetened with stevia, and the cocoa is certified organic, and the milk is free from “Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone” (rBGH) and Bovine Somatotropin, (rBST).
I take a couple of scoops in a baggie to work and mix it in my water bottle. For me, it keeps hunger at bay between meals. I also find it helpful after a run — the protein going toward helping muscle repair/building.
Water is fine to mix this with, but I especially like this with Silk Almond Milk; it’s a bit thicker and has a creamier taste. With the water, it can be a bit…well… watery. Plus, I recommend mixing this in a container you can shake, otherwise you wind up with little globs. I don’t mind them, but that tends to be a turn-off for some folks.
So if you’re looking for a way to boost your protein intake with a product that (a) tastes great, (b) is free of hormones, and (c) sweetened with stevia, Tera’s Whey is certainly a product to consider.

I like this because it is not gritty. I use milk 1/2 banana yogurt and whatever berries are in season. Great protein drink when you don’t really feel like eating.
Smells and tastes like soap –
When I got my package I opened up the box and all I could smell was a soapy smell. Almost like tide detergent. It was so strong. I realized it was the plastic container so I took the powder out of that and put it into a large jar I had on hand with the scoop. Even after doing that the powder itself tastes like it’s contaminated with laundry detergent. It’s horrible. I don’t often write poor reviews and I’m generally easy to please but this is just horrible. I began to read other reviews and found that the brand uses recycled containers to package their product and that sometimes a soap residue is left after sanitizing. While I understand the benefit to the environment with recycling, I would urge the company to stop this because their product is saturated with whatever must have been used.
I will be looking for a refund.

It’s as simple as that. The chocolate tastes a little like ovaltine. Super easy way to get a protein boost. The vanilla is the perfect supplement to smoothies.

I like that it mixes better than other powders that leave clumps on top and bottom of cup . Taste is a chocolate treat . Love the cocoa taste . Can’t say enough about this being my favorite

This has been the worst protein powder I’ve ever bought. While the flavor is decent, the powder doesn’t dissolve or blend in at all and clumps together creating a horrible texture. Huge waste of money…

I loved the taste of the protein powder. If you mix in a blender, it tastes amazing. I just use 100 ml of water and 2 scoops of the protein powder. It tastes like chocolate milk. I personally dint like vanilla because of the after taste of stevia, but chocolate is amazing. It is a little pricey though.
