Great value for the product and just what I needed to supplement my cat’s raw diet.

As a vegan I often supplement with taurine, this is not animal derived so it’s vegan friendly. I put it in smoothies or dissolve in water with glycine.

I purchased this product to try and use it to give our cats some extra Taurine. I sprinkle a little of this onto the cat food can’s contents then add a little filtered water and stir it up. The cats seem to be enjoying their wet food more. I also add it to their dry food by sprinkling it onto it and then giving it a gentle shake.
Our cats are getting older so I had hoped this would help them maintain their health.
It seems to have had a positive effect on our cats and I occasionally add it to my breakfast cereal if I want add a little extra energy.
The packaging was easy to use. I already had a jar that had originally held powdered taurine so I used this resealable bag to fill it and then store the rest for future top offs of the jar.
This was also the most powdered taurine for the cost available on Amazon at the time I ordered it.
I would buy this product again.

This was not only the cheapest offering at this quantity when I purchased it, it was put in a resealable package that lasted years of daily use vs 1-3 uses.
I just ran out! Purchased in 2020, it’s 2023. By comparison, everything I’ve purchased from other bulk supplement suppliers had faulty packaging.
Mild point in their favor, but worth considering to split the difference if prices seem otherwise comparable to competitors.
That said, I ordered a large plastic tub this time because it was discounted.

The label states that it is 100% pure, but it is not. Taurine is supposed to be 100% soluble, but after dissolving a teaspoon in 4 oz of water, the solution shows turbidity, indicating the presence of insoluble substance, which means the packaging contains additional substance, and that it is not 100% pure.
