I just got some fillerwork done, so I was very eager to try this out! Upon opening the jar, I immediately got concerned due to the extremely strong fragrance this has. It’s strong of lemon peel and citrus, tea tree, and rose. Just a ton of floral and citrus. Yet according to the ingredients list there isn’t any added fragrance. I mean that’s okay, but just used to the “plain and true” approach to my tattoo aftercare. But despite all that, it actually works just fine. I am in the scabbing phase of my healing, and it helped pretty well with the itching and keeping things moisturized. The lotion isn’t heavy and applies very light and breathable onto the skin. Despite it having alcohol and a ton of essential oils in the mix (and i did get worried with the tea tree and orange peel oils), it didn’t irritate my skin at all. For the most part, this is surprisingly good. Made my skin comfortable and wasn’t invasive to the tattoo. The only
concerns i have is that after a few minutes has passed, the tattoo starts to get a little warm. But it goes away after another few minutes. So besides that issue, it’s really not bad but just some patch testing is needed due to all the essentials oils and other possible irritants.

This is a weird lotion. It almost looked separated and with the consistency of nonfat yogurt. It smells lemony at first, but after it dries, it almost smells like deli meat. It goes on very watery, turns white, and then feels like residue on the skin. It’s kind of gross.

I was looking for a cream that combined lemon, sage and tea tree. This is better than the brand I was looking for.

This lotion leaves your skin feeling soft and refreshed. It has a very nice aroma to it that lingers on your skin. This does wonders for dried out skin that is cracked and hurts. Very pleased with the results of this lotion.

I really like this cream. It’s light but moisturizing and has a very interesting herbal smell to it. You can smell the lemon and tea tree and it all smells nice but it definitely caught me off guard at first. The more I smell it, the more I like it. I’ve been using it on my healed tattoos to help keep them looking good. I dont have any fresh ones right now but I can imagine it’ll feel nice after taking the tegaderm off. The thick, sticky feeling of aquaphor or a&d always made me feel gross so something soothing and light will be a nice change.

I am happy to say that this lotion from Videri was much better than I expected. I have been looking for some new aftercare creams, but I’m always nervous about what is in them. I like that this one was vegan and had a clear list of its ingredients.
When I first got it, I was surprised by the smell when I opened it. It smelled like it was very heavily perfumed, so I was a bit wary. However, I really think now that it is just from the ingredients. There’s a very clear lemon, tea tree, aloe feel to it.
The lotion itself is pretty thick and it goes a long way upon application. It’s very oily, which is perfect for tattoo healing, but can be a bit messy when you’re putting it on. Thanks to it being this way though, it stays on top of the tattoo for a long time and feels like it’s really soaking in and hydrating everything well. Overall, I’m very pleased with this and happy that I could find one that seems much healthier and safe to use. The cost seems pretty worth it as this amount will last me for quite a bit!
