I liked that I cannot smell any meat odors in this product, even tho it is a tallow product, and it smells just like any other skincare product I normally would use. The meat smell was a big issue for me trying other tallow balms in the past as I had an aversion to meat during pregnancy and have lingering issues with raw meat smells still. I love the smell of honey and lavender in this product, that’s all I smell when using it.
I loved that this item came in a giftable box. That tells me the company cares about the experience the customer has enough to have spent a little bit more in production costs to include that aspect, even tho it is being sold through ecom. The box also adds to this item’s appeal as a giftable item around the holiday season.
Overall, It felt good on my skin when I applied it. I have very dry skin and usually I need to use a lot of product to feel relief, but I used a small amount of this and it worked well. I also like the appeal of it being multi use for lips, face, and hands since all these areas are concerns I have and that helps me to have less random bottles of stuff in my house.
If you are looking to try tallow balm, this is a good one to try out!
