Using these now and they seem to work well. No odd side effects, smells, or taste. I’m taking the recommended dosage and all is good. I recommend!

I was already taking a magnesium blend on a regular basis so this was a no-brainer for me. It’s hard to test for magnesium deficiency but most Americans do not get nearly enough in their diet. Typically I take it at bedtime as magnesium has a calming effect. I had no negative side effects and fit this seamlessly into my routine.
I like that the company info is right on the label and that they offer a nice array of highly-rated supplements. Carlyle, the company that makes Tahoe Nutritionals, has manufacturing facilities in the US and lots of details on their website about their organic certifications and testing processes. Would love to see certificates posted online too. Overall the company transparency is a positive sign that this is a trustworthy, quality product.

This doesn’t even claim third party testing but at least its made by Carlyle, who is a well-established supplement provider in the U.S. They do their own in-house testing, but I would prefer independent testing because it never hurts to have another set of eyes on things.
Otherwise, I like the combination of magnesium. My doctor recommends magnesium citrate to keep me regular and magnesium glycinate to help with migraines. Magnesium malate is also highly absorbable so I like the combination. I take another supplement to get my vitamin D and zinc, but the amounts in here won’t interfere with what I take otherwise.
It seems like a solid supplement that I would purchase again for value. The expiration date of the bottle I received in November 2024 is July 2027.

This particular magnesium supplement has magnesium malate in it, which is supposed to be easier on your digestive system than some other forms of magnesium. It is also well-absorbed, making it a good choice for those with irregular digestion. I got this supplement primarily for the glycinate. I take magnesium glycinate and night to help me wind down before bed. This supplement is as expected and has not caused me any issues.

I take magnesium supplements under the direction of a cardiologist for my heart.
Purity and dosage consistency are very important to me.
I generally do not buy combinations of ingredients, since it is hard for me to confirm that the capsules contain the proper dosage of elemental magnesium. I need to take about 450 mg of elemental magnesium daily. In this case, the malate salt at 15 percent of elemental magnesium, the glycinate salt at 14 percent, and the citrate at 16 percent are close enough together to allow me to weigh and confirm the proper amount. It would have been more of a problem if the taurate or L-threonate salts had been used, since their elemental magnesium contents are much lower. The small amount of zinc and vitamin D3 are not that significant in terms of total weight.
The use of good manufacturing practices (GMP), and third party analysis for purity as stated on the bottle are both important for assuring good quality, and proper dosage.
I weighed the contents of two capsules of Tahoe Nutritionals magnesium complex, and the weight was 1900 mg. I considered the zinc weight, and used an average of 15 percent elemental magnesium. The 285 mg result is well within range of the stated magnesium on the label, when fillers and lubricants are considered.
The capsules are uniformly filled and firm. There was very little extraneous powder present in the bottle, probably a lubricant.
Tahoe Nutritionals magnesium is of excellent quality, and the price offers good value for money. I will that these capsules, secure in the knowledge that I am obtaining the proper dose recommended by my physician.
I would recommend Tahoe Nutritionals magnesium complex for quality and value for money.

The product looks solid. It has a nice packaging and label. First time trying this brand. There isn’t much information I can found regarding the company’s R&D. But it claims to be made in US and under GMP certified facilities. The capsules are ok. They are evenly filled. One cap has 125mg magnesium. However, it’s a mixture of Magnesium Glycinate, Citrate and Malate. So it’s hard to estimate how much is each. Not sure if the product is more for sleep or muscle. The thing I really don’t like is its added Zinc. I supplement Zinc and Copper together, as the two needs to be balanced. The added Zinc in this product breaks that balance. So I am pretty hesitated for whether I should add this to my daily routine.

I will say I have had better magnesium supplements but at this price this is the best if it’s category. I can’t find any magnesium of this quality at this price so if you want to try adding magnesium to your diet this is a great option without breaking the bank.
I also really like how it has vitamin D added as well. I’ve read that most all Americans aren’t getting enough magnesium or vitamin D in their diet so this is great to help with both areas. The dosage is fairly low so I’d start with one pill as suggested and then increase to 2 or 3 depending on how your body reacts.
I take it right before bed and wake up feeling great. Overall a solid supplement priced well.
