I have an elderly parent living in our home and the cleaning and the smell is constant. I put two tablets in the toilet bowl and it has helped tremendously both for odor and for cleaning. It doesn’t substitute the need to use a toilet brush to thoroughly cleanse but it does help by making it easier. It is colorless and works well it leaves no residue and it does not harm the pipes

Decided to test these as an alternative to Kaboom tablets. I’ve had the Kaboom system in our toilets for several years and it works so well plus also my plumber was happy to see it. Anyway, sometimes those tablets are difficult to come by and they are not the cheapest.
The Vacplus tablets are small, about the size of Kabooms so they fit into the container. These definitely smell strong after each flush, I’d say almost overpoweringly so. They also don’t seem to last very long but they do keep the toilet bowl clean while they last.
Not sure if I’d buy these again and am glad I got the 12-pack to begin with and not the 30-pack. We shall see…

These tablets are small but work well. Each one last about a month. I have a half bath that is seldom used and I use these in that toilet to keep the tank clean. I also use them in my main bathroom where they cut down on the number of times I have to clean the toilet. They do have a bleach smell.

Ok so as some have said they do smell strongly of bleach when used in the ‘kaboom’ inntank cleaning system. I can not speak to the strength of the the odor when used in the tank itself. Personally I dont care and the bleach scent fades quickly. In return I have the cleanest toilet bowls Ive had in years. We have well water and have a lot of iron and iron eating bacteria (wont harm humans, just looks awful, orange/brown stain in the bowl). These tabs keep that to minimum or in cleaning terms from having to scrub bowls 3 times a week to once a week quick brush the bowl and be done. Im sold!

I’ve been using these TB cleaning tablets for about 5 years. They do smell like bleach, which doesn’t bother me. Haven’t had any issues with rusting or breaking internal parts, but hubby usually puts in appropriate ‘guts’ to attempt to avoid future problems. I prefer these over Clorox tabs, particularly because they’re smaller, and seem to last longer. We have cats and put the same new toilets in all three bathrooms, only using these tablets in two bathrooms in case our cats need water in an emergency – like their water fountain going on the fritz. I can definitely see the difference between using tablets and not, so for me they’re worth it.
