My invisiline retainers are 18 years old!!! yes…18 years old! I had used the retainer cleaner that my ortho had given me for years…but he retired and I didn’t know where else to get it till I saw that you could get some on amazon. needless to say it had been a while and mine looked really bad. They had so much plaque build up and were yellow. UGH! it was embarrassing. I only wear them at night but even with brushing them…it’s gross.
It did take about 2-3 soaks but it got the plaque off! They aren’t perfect but considering they are going on 20 years old I wasn’t expecting much! With a couple soaks a week and some brushing they are staying pretty clean. I have gotten to the point where I only have to use it maybe once or twice a week. I bought a fairly large box. If yours aren’t as bad as mine you probably won’t have to use it as much.
But, it does the JOB!
