As a guy, I don’t use makeup as a rule, but my GF is very into this type of stuff. I gave her this for Christmas, and she was over the moon about it. Said it was much nicer then the stuff she usually uses. She’s happy, so I’m happy!!

i ordered this because i’m a fan of korean skincare and i wanted to add a flaming cleanser back into my routine. i like that this product is supposed to keep your skin from drying out. the packaging is simple and aesthetically pleasing. although i have only used it a couple of times, here’s what i can say so far: this product feels nice on my skin, it’s smooth and soft and foamy. my sensitive skin doesn’t feel dried out or irritated after using it. i can’t attest to any long-term effects, but i will come back and edit this review if i notice and positive or negative effects after a while. 5 stars for now, unless something changes.

Korean skincare has a good reputation for creating high quality products which is what intrigued me about this item. I like this cleanser because it has a very subtle scent, nearly fragrance free, and it has safe ingredients. It is not loaded with parabens and preservatives and my sensitive skin seems to tolerate it well. I like the foam and the dispenser is a nice size but it doesn’t feel awkward in your hand. I don’t think there is anything particularly special or wonderful about this product, but it does what it says. I don’t think I will continue to use this because I prefer my Cerave bar soap, but I did enjoy trying this product. I am interested in the other products this company makes because of the simple, clean ingredients they use.

This face wash dispenses as foam and is gentle on the skin as it cleans with out drying my skin out. However, this does not remove certain facial products such as makeup, so I will be using makeup remover prior to using this face wash rather than doing another wash to see if it comes off.

This cleanser honestly confuses me. It leaves my skin feeling like it has moisture to the touch, but my face feels tight and uncomfortable afterward. I can’t tell if there is a chemical in it that maybe I’m reacting to or something. It’s like a long lasting mild sting type discomfort that feels like my skin is tight and dry. But when I feel the skin it feels moist and not dried out. It doesn’t feel like it has been stripped of moisture to the touch, but how it feels in what I’m experiencing feels like my skin has been dried out. It’s very confusing.
Overall it’s just an okay cleanser. I like ph balancing cleansers so I was hoping i would like this one. It foams up great and you get a nice large amount out of one pump. It’s a nice luxurious lather and easy to use. It’s a nice size bottle too.
It has a strange smell though. Like a subtle chemical smell. I didn’t particularly enjoy that. It’s not super strong or overpowering, but it’s noticeable enough to bother me and make me question what I’m putting on my face. Especially with how my skin is feeling afterward.
I have combination skin, so maybe this just isn’t a good fit for me. So I only took off one star since I know not everything works for everyone.
I am suspicious of this cleanser though and I’m not sure that I will continue using it.
