So, I’ve been using Symbiotics Colostrum Plus Powder for a few months now, and I’ve noticed a real boost in my overall well-being. Pure Awesome!! TASTES GREAT and mixes in about 5 to 10 seconds with my little Aerolatte battery mixer. I have just started to add a double scoop of Great Lakes Gelatin Collagen Hydrolysate which adds no flavor or thickness and dissolves instantly – I add this for bone health.
I was really afraid that I would not be able to stomach a yukky taste but I was pleasantly surprised and actually took forward it. I take it when I get up, a half hour before I eat or drink anything else, and I take it about a half hour before I go to bed.
I take the colostrum for my leaky gut and in particular for my upper respiratory issues. I am 68 years old. I am just about ready to finish my first container and I can say that I am pleasantly surprised with the results and expect it will just get better. When I lay down in bed at night I can hear sounds from the very upper part of my wind pipes that almost sounds like a little bird or my cat meowing in the distance. It was so bad I would change positions in bed to make it go away and sometimes I just had to deal with it, or go into a coughing mode and end up taking something to calm that. Now when I go to bed, if I hear any wheezing I can simply clear my throat and it is gone, but this is occurring less and less over this first month of use. I am thrilled to say the least. And while there are signs that I can actually hear that prove to me that the stuff works I also know it is doing wonders for the things that I am not cognizant of.
I did a lot of research before I bought any colostrum. The first one I bought cost me about $100 and did not last the month. It was Sovereign brand and came in a metallic & plastic lined reclosable bag. With the Symbiotics brand I use three level scoops to equal the same amount of lgG’s and PRPs that I was consuming with the Sovereign brand and one container of Symbiotics lasts a full month at a cost of ~$65.
I used to be the art director at a supplements firm who sold a high grade of New Zealand colostrum. I can tell you the Sovereign brand colostrum is a high quality colostrum and I feel after using both products back-to-back they are both the same = great taste, great consistency, same color, same smell. To me they are exactly the same product but the Symbiotics brand gives you more for less $. In my opinion you will not find a better brand of colostrum at a better price. This product is amazing. But I was in a hurry and accidently ordered the 2.25 oz. container. For $1 more, there was a 6 oz. container that I actually thought I was ordering. So make sure and check your sizes and don’t make the same mistake I did.
A vet tech/trainer recommended I give this to our 9 yr old pitbull, who seems to be allergic to everything! She constantly has yeast skin infections and was scratching herself raw. She literally had patches where she was bleeding and her hair was gone! Her skin was red and rashy and she smelled horrible. She didn’t sleep at all because she would literally scratch herself 24/7. That with her constant ear infections, the poor thing was absolutely miserable! Within one week, she stopped scratching, she was sleeping through the night and all her hair started to come back! She’s so happy – her entire demeanor has changed! We have our happy girl back! After reading all the reviews about this stuff, I’m actually going to start taking it myself as everyone raves about it’s healing properties! All I know is that, we tried for two years to find something that would help heal our poor baby and this is the only thing that actually worked! She hasn’t even had an ear infection since we’ve been giving her the Colostrum Powder – which is amazing in and of itself, because she constantly had an ear infection. I wish we would have found out about this stuff two years ago. It would have saved us several trips to the vet and several hundred dollars in antibiotics, ear washes and medicines! THIS IS AMAZING STUFF! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
