First let me say I was very skeptical of this product before purchasing. I have two large German Shepherds who are constantly tracking in dirt from outside. I thought I would try this for those in between spot cleanings for the pawprints on the floor. Though it is not as thorough as a mop and bucket, it gets the job done! It was easy to set up (handle assembly, batteries, solution, pad), and very user friendly. It’s lightweight, maneuverable, and sprays a good amount of solution ahead of mop to clean with. Fresh scent is very clean smelling. Great for in between, quick cleanups!

The Swiffer device is wonderful. It assembles quickly and intuitively. It uses one double a battery so that a button on the stick when pressed ejects two squirts of a great smelling cleaner directly in front of the mops path. Then you just grab that stick and scrub. It cleans our faux wood floors just beautifully. It doesn’t require a great deal of scrubbing because the liquid seems to break down grime quickly that comes right off in the mop that’s attached. We found that the mop can be easily washed by hand, or thrown in the washer and dryer. That means one mop is good for multiple uses and a money saver. Additional mop heads are available on Amazon, along with the floor cleaner itself, for reasonable pricing. I personally wish this came in colors other than purple, but if purple gets our floors clean I’m beginning to like purple. This Swiffer mop is a gem and I don’t know how we did without it. Highly recommended. (Per attached photo it hangs quietly in the little furnace room of our condo waiting for a little floor grime to do its thing.)

The mop is used just for house hold washing of tile floors. I washed the floors with the Fresh Scent Cleaner and reuseable pads. I used 4 of them so as not to over do the pads. I had purchased the Swiffer PowerMop Multi-Surface Mop Kit and bought an extra 2 x 5 boxes of Mopping Pads. After I had used the pads I put them in the wash on a 20 minute cycle. When I pulled them out, they had completely fallen apart. I now will have to pin them back together and sew down each seam to be able to use them again. Since then I washed two more and they have done exactly the same thing. They were not cheap. Not impressed.

I’ve been wanting this for awhile and finally got one. I think I used a coupon and it was under $26 so great value. I got the mop, two pads, and it came with a bottle of cleaner and the two AA batteries needed. it was super easy to set up and use.
My floor was just washed on a few days ago and you can see how dirty the pad is. I like the disposable pads, but I do not see why my reusable pads would not fit on this as they all use a velcro type stick to attach.
I was actually not sure what the batteries did but they are for the spray. I sort of thougt the mop may vibrate to help clean but no such luck there. The spray is really nice though. it sprays out of two spouts on either side of the front portion on the floor rather than shooting out of the body of the mop. Consequently the spray ends up on the floor. Each sprayer is angled toward the center and is quite effective.
I normally hate scents and felt like this one was pleasant and light enough that it did left things smelling lightly clean without making me feel like I was being subjected to noxious chemicals. Mine came with the fresh scent, but I think they also have a lavendar and lemon scent. One nice thing is that you can change the bottles without unscrewing them it has a self sealing feature so you just click it on and there is like a rubber seal. it’s really pretty cool.
last but not least this has a well designed loop at the top that allows me to hang it in my laundry room. Right now it’s hanging on a command strip hook. It’s not too heavy so that works pretty well.
I am pretty picky about reviews and give this 5 deserving stars.

I LOVE this mop! I would recommend to anyone who have bad knees, hips or difficulty cleaning your house! I have had that bucket mop that you step on it to wring out. It is a good mop set, but it hurt my knee to keep stepping on it to wring it out. So i got rid of it and tried this system. I’m so glad I did! It’s so easy to use and assemble! AND it really cleans well! It smells good, and dries quickly! I will try the pads for wood floors next time. I don’t do many reviews, but I had to do this one for anyone in my situation. “Swiffer” products are the BEST, Especially this POWER MOP SYSTEM! Thank God for you “SWIFFER”!

Love the mop it’s simple and easy to use. Purchased it mainly for my cat’s litter room/ area. Like that the pads are disposable especially when cleaning an area such as the litter area. Makes clean up a breeze and keeps the area clean without the risk of cross contaminating other areas of the house. Simply dispose after each clean.
What I disliked about the mop was the strong fragrant solution that is often used with this unit. It’s way to strong and overpowering and eventually gives you a headache. The sent lingers all throughout the house so much I could smell it up stairs despite never using it up there.
I absolutely couldn’t take it and emptied the entire bottle down the toilet. Once emptied I throughly washed and clean the bottle and added my own cleaning and sanitizing solution with parts water and popped it back on the mop. Works like a charm, cleans and sanitize my floors without the overpowering fragrant sent.
Great mop just wish they would come up with a better line up in terms of cleaning solution. They all seem to be heavily fragrant. Would be great if they had a solution that was unscented for those who are more sensitive or at least a more light sent and could sanitize
