I have more confidence in Swanson than other Tumeric makers. So I am inclined to use their Tumeric. It has the “pepper” additive which I a convinced assists the absorption of the product.
The ease of swallowing should not be belittled. It’s a large capsule, so it’s shape and surface texture is important. I have no difficulty swallowing these. I do find however that it’s best for me to take it with food and water. Otherwise, sometimes I have discomfort in my throat later.
I’m not a doctor or an herbalist, so I won’t talk about the benefits I believe Tumeric provides. But it’s a lot more than just pain relief.
I have tried several Tumeric products from other companies. I have settled on Swanson and so long as they make it I will buy it.
