I’m a supplement junkie, so keep that in mind.
I’ve been trying out BrainSync Brain Probiotics for a while now. What drew me to it was the combination of ingredients in each tablet.
Some of the things that I like are:
You can’t beat a product made in the U.S.A. If you don’t make an effort to buy American, you should (unless you’re not American, then support your people).
Who can’t benefit from improved clarity and focus? I’m not a big coffee drinker, and I quit smoking, so I’ve been exploring alternative options for focusing.
I used to take individual supplements, but now I lean toward synergized formulas. This habit is primarily to save time and money.
When you take as many supplements as I do, knowing which one gives you the most benefit is difficult. But, this seems to make a difference.

Studies have shown that mood and brain health are dependent on gut flora and gastrointestinal health. This unique supplement targets both the head and the body with a high content of probiotics and inulin as a prebiotic. These have a pleasing berry-mint flavor that is light and not cloying.
PROS:
+ Probiotic Powerhouse: The flora in this supplement was great to help me regulate my piping while also boosing my digestion. I felt a notable less amount of ‘bottom blockage’ after using this for 2 weeks and would say I’m pretty good and regular after a month. The strains within also do wonders to help replenish gut flora which studies suggest are linked with energy and mood. I feel pretty upbeat while I’m taking these and love what they do for my plumbing.
+ Pleasant Flavor: The tablets themsleves have a light minty-berry flavor and aroma due to two of their gut-healthy ingredients. Strawberry extract can support regulation while mint is a known belly soother. Mint is the most prominent flavor and the tablets taste great dissolved in the mouth.
+ Easy on Sensitive Belly: While taking these, I’ve noted stomach upset, funky burps, or nausea. They are great when taken with a meal but don’t upset my gut even when I take them on an empty stomach.
CONS:
– May Cause Bubbles: Some folks but not all can be sensitive to inulin (chicory). For those who are, you may experience a few small toots or burps; nothing serious but still there and noteworthy.

Came double sealed: plastic band around cap, and inner seal.
Most probiotics come as capsules to be swallowed, so the first thing I noticed about these probiotics is that the instructions say to let dissolve in the mouth or slowly chew. It has a mild mint flavor – not delicious, but not terrible either.
In studying the ingredients, I understand why: it contains Streptococcus salivarius which populates the mouth and throat, not the gut. It is ubiquitous in humans, colonizing a newborn baby’s mouth within hours of birth. It actually helps prevent infection by its unwelcome cousin, Streptococcus pyogenes, the cause of strep throat, by producing antimicrobial peptides as a defense mechanism to inhibit the growth of closely related bacterial strains from taking hold and competing, such as the dangerous S. pyogenes. So, a vibrant colony of S. salivarius in the mouth and throat may help prevent serious infections.
The other probiotic bacteria included: L. paracasei, L. reuteri, and B. lactis Bi-04 are common, and very desirable probiotic strains for the gut. I don’t know if releasing these bacteria in the mouth affects their ability to successfully make it to the gut. I was unable to find any arguable findings which indicated any of these included probiotics have any effect on the brain, other than all probiotics in general have a positive effect on many aspects of human health and well-being.
I won’t be taking this on a daily basis because I’ve developed my own theory and strategy on taking probiotics: Imagine you want a healthy, vibrant back yard filled with beautiful wildflowers. I think a good method would be to sprinkle seeds of preferred wildflowers, varying the species daily, and allowing the ones well adapted to your specific environment flourish. If you sprinkle the very same seeds daily, they may come to predominate, but might not be as healthy as others better suited. By sprinkling generally preferred seeds on a regular basis, the desired bacteria (wildflowers) well suited for the environment will come to dominate and prevent undesired bacteria (crabgrass) from gaining a foothold.
I like this probiotic because it contains S. salivarius, which I haven’t seen before in a probiotic. I would think that an occasional sprinkling of S. salivarius in the mouth might help keep its colony vibrant and healthy, possibly increasing immunity from its infectious cousins.

I’ve noticed that I can recall things better.

I don’t think I will ever find out if it works because the taste is so bad. I barely choked down the first one.
