I will fully admit, it’s my fault I didn’t check on the Life Extension website to see if this was sweetened. Because I pretty much only use Life Extension brand supplements, I didn’t even think to question if the “berry flavor” included any sweetener. Unfortunately, it does. Besides the horrible cloying sweetness that just won’t go away, it gave me the normal stomach problems I get when I consume any stevia. On the plus side, the powder dissolved quickly when mixed in water.
Even if I could get over the stomach upset that stevia causes me, that taste is a hard no. Not everything needs to be sweet and it’s disappointing that Life Extension would add it to this product.
If you don’t mind that flavor, it’s a Life Extension product that I’d otherwise trust.

This supplement by LifeExtension dissolves well in my water bottle for when I go to the gym. The flavor is berry and I think it tastes good. The berry flavor is sweet but not overwhelmingly so. There is a scooper in the jar for serving size scoops. The powder is white and it doesn’t tint the water it dissolves in. The powder is very fine and can “poof” up in the air if the jar is bumped or dropped with the lid open.

I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to get to know the company and product better, to help you determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.
This container comes maybe 1/3 full, which is low even in the standards of powder supplements. This is one of my pet peeves with many supplement companies. If used as directed it will last one month. I’d prefer they add more powder and/or use a smaller container.
Lately I’ve been wondering when powder supplement manufacturers are going to realize the scoop doesn’t need a reinforced handle? The powder is light enough and the plastic strong enough that it will work with just a flat handle. That will keep powder from getting stuck in the nooks and crannies and then randomly free-falling when it’s right over something you don’t want it to free-fall on (such as my keyboard =) Also, making the scoop rounded will make the powder come out easier.
If used as directed it will last one month.
The expiration date on mine (THANK YOU for not printing it on the bottom!) is Jul 2026.
The powder has a fruity scent to it, and a more discernible berry taste.
I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says non-GMO. The product page also says manufactured in the USA.
I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. Their phone number is on the bottle. The product page says a certificate of analysis is available for every one of their supplement, which is rare to see. Their lifeextension site is functional and informative, and they have been rated the #1 catalog/internet merchant among supplement users multiple times by ConsumerLab. They offer a certificate of analysis for all of their products upon request. They also have a number on their site that you can call to get a free wellness consultation, and another number for customer service.
I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I have used their supplements off and on for years and always had good experiences with them. I like the ingredients here, except for the fillers that many companies say they need to use, but the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to. For the price, and from an established company, I think it’s a good deal.

My partner loves to take this before a workout. It does help increase blood flow and feels like you have more energy to complete the workout. The taste is ok, not great but are any of these? Solid and we’d order again

I did find the product a little off-putting when I first opened it and the jar is only about 33% full. I think they should have chose a more appropriate jar; however, the scoops are small, and I’m confident it will contain 30 serving.
The product has a great flavor and it is easy to drink in just 6 ounces of water. I actually wasn’t expecting a flavor at all because the listed flavor ‘Berry Flavored’ blends in so well with the label, I didn’t even notice it. There is another review on this listing claiming the product label doesn’t list stevia, but that isn’t true. The second item on the Other Ingredients is rebaudioside (a stevia extract). The product does have a very sweet flavor.
I took the product as directed; no upset stomach, gas or anything else.
Overall, I do like the product and I think it is worth giving it a try.

I have been taking my Nitric Oxide in pill form for a long time, but I feel like the powder version of supplements has been more effective for me. I also like that I can just mix this in with my pre-workout and other supplements and not have to take a bunch of large pills. The taste is good. It’s virtually unnoticeable. I like the performance. I can maintain the same amount of effort as before and I feel a bit more sustained in the first hour of my workout.

EDIT: AFTER USING THIS SPARINGLY, I WENT TO ADD SOME TO A SMOOTHIE AND THE POWDER WAS SOLID AS A ROCK! THE JAR HAD THE LID ON SECURELY AND WAS IN A DARK COOL CABINET WHERE ALL MY SUPPLEMENTS ARE STORED. I TRIED TO GRIND IT WITH LITTLE SUCCESS
I received this Life Extension NitroVasc Boost and it arrived with tamper proof seals.
It has a nice scoop in the container and dissolved instantly in my water bottle.
It also has a pleasant taste but an unneeded sweetener (Stevia), the berry flavor is fantastic!
This brand is well respected and I’m hopeful that it will help with a nitric oxide boost but I can honestly say that I will not repurchase this unless they have an option without the sweetener.
