This sleep supplement works good. The flavor is similar to blue cotton candy so it is pretty sweet. There’s an aftertaste that made me look at the ingredients, and sure enough the slight yogurt aftertaste is from the milk derived ingredients.

This Ghost sleepy time drink has been a good little night time ritual that has not affected my sleep one bit. I have tried other brands in the past for a night time workout drink and I came to the conclusion that the melatonin can sometimes give odd results to each night’s sleep. Sometimes I would sleep fantastic and then other times it would keep me up for a couple extra hours. So far, the Ghost drink has not had that issue one bit. I have got nothing but excellent sleep and the extra nutrients included in here for both hydration and muscle building nighttime release, have definitely aided in my recovery. Plus, it also has a good amount of magnesium as well, which is generally an all around nutrient to have.
I also like the Ghost has thought out the scooper location. When you open the jug it is literally attached in a little slot above the powder so you don’t have to dig in like a caveman looking towards the depth of the jug.
The taste is also excellent too and I only mix mine with like a couple ounces of water just to make sure that I don’t have any issues later in the night. Overall a good bonus workout drink to have in my arsenal.

This was my first time with a Ghost supplement. I’ve seen them popping up on shelves and when I had the opportunity to try this, I figured it couldn’t hurt.
For background, I’m usually a pretty deep sleeper, but I also don’t usually remember my dreams. I tend to wake up a little groggy and take a good 30 minutes to get going in the morning.
After taking this (one scoop, which they recommend to those who are new to the product), I had weird dreams and had a much more difficult time waking up in the morning.
I’m not going to recant my dreams here, but they were sort of trippy and a bit disturbing. The fact that I even remember them is unusual for me so I can confidently say this definitely did something to my sleep, but I really can’t say I liked it.
My bigger problem was that all three times I used this product, I had a really hard time waking up. I got out of bed okay, but it took me probably two hours each time to start feeling truly awake. This does happen to me from time to time, but that it happened on each of the three occasions I took this product makes me think this stuff is the reason I suffered those days. I’m really glad I didn’t take the full two-scoop dose!
If you’re a hardcore insomniac or have nothing to do in the morning, this might be okay for you. But I have two small boys and a job to juggle and I really didn’t like what this product did to me.
Oh, I should mention the taste. It takes like blueberry muffins, which I’m a fan of. But as much as I like blueberry muffins, I didn’t care for drinking that flavor. If the taste was just blueberries like advertised, I’d be more okay with that, but there was definitely a muffin taste there too, which seemed weird and not particularly enjoyable.
Overall, I think this product might be okay for some people, but I also think it’s probably not right for most, hence the three-star rating.

I was looking forward to this because Ghost makes good products generally. I think this was a bit of a mis-step though. I’ve got lots of experience with sleep-aid products. Normal melatonin, to weight-loss sleep-aids to various other sleep products.
The ingredient profile for this is solid. Numerous things to help you relax and sleep well. Unfortunately for me the execution just isn’t well thought out. You are supposed to mix this with 6-8oz of water. I had a glass of water and managed to get it mostly mixed with just a spoon though there was still a little grit. I don’t know how well 6oz would have mixed if I was at somewhere between 8-10oz.
So I mix it up and I take a sip and realize Blue dream flavor meant Blueberry not Blue Razz. Blueberry is an interesting choice and it does taste like Blueberries but that’s not really the flavor I want to chug down before bed. I also have to take various prescriptions at night and I didn’t really want to drink them with this flavor so I consumed a lot of water before bed. Instead of sleeping I ended up having to wake up and use the restroom from drinking another 8oz of water on top of normal.
In the future I could use this to take my medicine but it’s still not water than I would normally consume this close to bed.
I found this started to knock me out but kind of put me in a halfway sleep where I was half dreaming, half awake. Took me a bit longer than usual with sleep supplements to actually fall asleep. I’m going to see if I can get this to mix with a micro dose of water and eliminate loading my system up with fluid before bed.
This could have been a lot better in capsule form. No mixing, smaller container, less liquid before bed. Not sure why they went powder route.

Makes sense that the company that keeps us awake, would find a way to bio hack our systems to crash out too. Some ingredients I recognize like tryptophan and melatonin. Magnesium to help with muscle recovery. Great taste and hydrating! Yummy and doesn’t contain sugar. Helps catch up that lost sleep. You get 20 serving per $50 bottle. How much do you value sleep?
