I’ve been on a juice cleanse & a protein diet since since I’ve been on this reset. It took only 5 or 6 hours for it to kick in for me. I was up late juicing my life away & decided to mix two pills into one of my juices. It happened to be my blueberry & beet juice. I can’t swallow pills, so I have to open the capsules & mix them with something. If you drink it with just water it’s disgusting. Anyways, my stomach was cramping for hours then I got this hot flash feeling & knew I needed to use the restroom. I was in & out of the restroom more than I can count. But after about 3 days I felt normal & light. It really does clean out your system. I’ve been taking Pure for Men for years & never had this experience before. I would highly recommend this product! You gotta eat clean & workout if you want exceptional results. Or if you just want to flush out all the junk on your days off. I will be subscribing for month to month!

I loved the reset capsules! I waited to make this review after taking the reset for the recommended time and I can say that it works and cleans your system for a reset. Although as others say it does cause cramping, I took the recommended 2 pills and didn’t experience any severe cramping the first day was the only bad day. I made sure to stay hydrated and also took 3 of their fiber pills which definitely helped make it easier.

If you’re new to “detox” products, be warned! This is not a comfortable process. This is basically a strong laxative made with more natural (but don’t read that to mean weaker) products as well as some added probiotics. If you’ve ever done the Salt Water Flush as part of a master cleanse or drank a laxative tea such as “Smooth Moves” you’re on the right track as to what to expect.
With this particular product, my experience was that the onset of the effects began 8-10 hours after taking the pills, were strongest at the 12-16 hour mark and subsided completely within 19-24 hours. That’s longer than most other cleanses I’ve tried, though I’m not sure whether that’s good or bad. You will want to be near a toilet with some privacy. I work from home so it wasn’t a problem for me. If I had to go into an office and be around people?!?! Yeah, probably not lol.
As to the results, I’ve done this twice now. The first time I took one pill every night for 5 days. I lost about 4.5 lbs and ate mostly small meals with LOTS of water and no alcohol. In the days that followed I had more energy, improved sleep, and noticed my skin was brighter (in fact multiple people commented on it!).
The second time, I took 2 pills each night before bed for 4 nights, wasn’t as careful with my diet and didn’t completely cut out alcohol. I still lost about 3.5 lbs, and had more energy in the days that followed.
This is DEFINITELY a product to be used in moderation and has the potential to be abused by crash dieters or folks on the anorexic/bulimic spectrum. You’ll need to drink LOTS of water, and I’d also recommend some electrolytes as this product has both laxative and diuretic properties, so dehydration is a likely side-effect.
That being said, if your diet isn’t generally clean, you’re regularly irregular, or you want a periodic colon cleanse without the invasive nature of colonic irrigation, this will do the trick to get things moving. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars because while it does what it’s intended to do (and quite well!), there are products/processes that can achieve similar results with less discomfort. Also as this product is marketed towards gay men for whom body dysmorphia and eating disorders are common, I worry about the potential for this product to be abused.

It’s so effective that it reminded me to write this review. The directions say take 2 pills at a time but I would suggest taking 1 to see how your body reacts. For me it takes a while to start working so I would suggest choosing a day you know you’ll have time to be in an out of the bathroom. To me it’s more of a pure laxative than a stool softener so you may experience some cramping.

So these pills work and are very effective. They work approximately 6-8hours after taking them. They will have your stomach cramping and hurting but during that time is when you have to use the bathroom. It will have you in the bathroom multiple times a day, back to back. I went to the bathroom every 5-15 minutes in a few hours span. When you do have to use the bathroom, there is no holding it… Safe to say I will use these again
