Whenever I start to feel like I’m catching something, I take one of these zinc tablets. I have to say, since I started using them when I’m a little under the weather, I haven’t had any colds or flu (of course, I also got a flu shot which helps). I really think these pills help me to ward off any illnesses making the rounds. These tablets seem to be of decent quality so I’m pleased with them. I don’t take them every day, I just take them when I feel like I need something to help me because I’m feeling a little tired and wonky.

When I feel the oncoming of a cold, I start taking zinc every day. The Pomona zinc supplement I find to be of a very good quality. The tablet is easy to take with water. I would suggest you take zinc with a meal, when I take it on an empty stomach, I find that it often leaves me quesy. One hundred tablets is generally enough to get me through cold season and the Pomona brand is good value for your money.

This review is for POMONA WELLNESS Zinc 50mg: Immune Support (100 Count), which at time of review is $20.27, dosage is 1 pill at that price each dose is 7 cents (though there is a 15% coupon as I write this). I have been taking this zinc supplement for the last 2 weeks. It is easy to take with no bitter aftertaste. What I can say is at 455% of the daily recommended intake some people might feel, for lack of better description, “off”. Some people may need to cut this particular pill in half or start with a lower dose pill. This bottle is a good value as it will last 100 days, longer if you have to split the pill when dosing.

I picked this up because I am always in need of zinc. These days I can’t take a risk of getting sick so I always try to take Zinc to boost my immune system, especially if I feel a bit under the weather. I have had good luck with this brand and also this product. Will likely pick up more in the future once this bottle is gone.
I like this brand because so far I haven’t seen any of their stuff having other additives in it the way some brands do.

I like this pack because it’s 100 days worth @ 20 cents a day.
I like that the pills are tiny and easy to swallow. It is non GMO which is great. It is Vegan for those that appreciate that. Zinc is great for immunity support, especially combined with other things such as C, D3 or Elderberry.
Zinc supports a number of functions in the human body. As well as supporting the immune system, it enables the body to make proteins and DNA, contributes to wound healing, and plays a role in childhood growth and development. It also has antioxidant properties.

Consumers are at the mercy of suppliers when it comes to buying any supplements as we have no way of testing the contents of them ourselves. I have no reason to doubt these Pomona supplements.
