I’ve only been using this brand of vit. k2 for a week. I take it to reduce my blood calcium level and have not had a lab test to conform if it’s as effective as other brands. It’s labeled as the same dosage I normally take, so I shall have to wait and see. It’s much less expensive than my normal brand so that’s a plus if it works just as well. Let’s also not forget free delivery with Amazon Prime- no going out to the store and possibly getting exposed to covid.

It’s pretty much impossible to tell if this product or its competitors products actually do anything. I do like that this product is inexpensive compared to the competitors. And, since I take two every day, along with a hand-full of other supplements, it’s nice that the pills are small and, hence, easy to swallow.
I’ve been taking vitamin K2 for about 3 years. I had initially started taking it to help with joint aches. I did some research and found (through scientific papers) that K2 might be helpful in preventing heart attack and a load of other problems. The K2 (from a different manufacturer) didn’t seem to do anything, at least at first.
However, I generally feel better, both in my joints and in my overall health. It’s not clear if that’s the vitamin K2 or any of the many other changes that I made. But I’m not willing to stop taking K2 as there are papers that indicate its efficacy, and there is no other source of it in my diet.
I started taking this product about 3 months ago. It takes more than 3 months to evaluate vitamin K2 (it’s a marathon, not a sprint) IF you have diagnostic equipment, time, and money to test for results. So, I can’t say this product is better or worse than any other or if any of them actually work at all. However, this product is the cheapest I’ve seen on the market and that’s a really good feature.
I’ll keep taking it and looking for this particular product. My health is important and I think this is an important component of that.

So, after ingesting these for a few weeks I am unaware of any negative affects (so far). Why would I say that, you ask? Please allow me to answer my own question…
I am usually very particular about my safety. I have an alarm system at home, a tracker in my vehicle, and I do not trust many people (certainly never a stranger). Stay with me here, I will eventually get to the point.
So the day the package arrived I was pretty happy, as this was just the right amount of K2 for the dose of Vitamin D that I take regularly. Good price, right dose, what’s not to like? Then I screw the lid off the bottle.
You know that plastic wrap manufacturers place around bottle and jar lids to keep people from tampering with the product? You have to cut or tear it off to get in the container? I usually just twist off the top and the plastic tears when the lid breaks the seal; that way I know the contents are safe. Well, when I did it with this product the lid screwed off with the plastic seal still intact… It was strange in that I could carefully screw the lid back onto the container with the plastic seal and it looked as if the lid had never been off.
Well, I will admit that has happened to me once or twice before with items I have purchased (not from Amazon), and because I am so concerned with my well-being I have thrown those items away. This I kept. And it gets better.
Once I tired of playing “Screw the lid on, Screw the lid off” (it lasted about five minutes…DON’T JUDGE ME!!!), I decided that I wanted to at least see what the pills looked like before I threw the bottle away. So I attempted to peel away the styrofoam seal these companies glue around the edge of the container opening (yet another “anti-tamper device) and…the moment I touched it the darn thing fluttered away like a butterfly. I just barely made contact and the entire seal detached (can something “detach” if it was never “attached” to begin with…?) and watched the round white disc spiral slowly to the floor.
WTF!!!!!
So now I am really peeved. I can see one anti-tamper device failing, but TWO!!! Who is in charge of their quality control, Laurel and Hardy??? (I realize that may be an obscure reference for some of the younger readers, but please bear with me. I’m not promising that this gets any better, I’m just saying I would hate to have two old widowers on different coasts being the only readers suffering though my ramblings). Honestly, who knows where the hell this thing has been, and who in the world (literally, as I have no idea where this stuff originated) has had access. And this is all happening amid the “COVID hysteria.” For all I know there is a mix of Coronavirus, Ebola virus, and maybe some arsenic mixed in there. So in severe frustration I leave the bottle on my dresser in disgust and depart from the room, extremely bitter.
Later that night, just before bed, I took one of those pills with my Vitamin D. I’ve been taking one every night since. All in all I’d say “Not bad”…
