As a pacific northwest resident, this has been the best vitamin d i have had so far.. my vitamin d levels are super consistent.. it’s very affordable. Small pills for easy swallowing.

I have chronic low vitamin D and I take other medications that essentially deplete the vitamin D stores I do have. So taking a daily vitamin D supplement is essential. Finding vitamin D affordably is always the challenge, so I was really pleased to find this listing. I included some photos to show the close-ups of the bottle and the size of the softgel/pill. For 5000 IU, the pill is fairly small in size and easy to swallow. The softgel will fit in my daily pill case well alongside my other pills. And for those of us with smaller medicine cabinets or with a ton of pill bottles to store, I was relieved that the bottle was appropriately sized. I know bottle size is such a trivial issue, but I often have to pour my pills into smaller pill bottles (either peeling/transferring the label or just writing the new expiry date) because affordable bulk quantities are often sold in oversized bottles that are half-filled. I was pleased these arrived in a light-sensitive bottle that was 75-80% filled so the bottle is only 4.5″ tall and 2.25″ around so it easily fits in my medicine cabinet. Beyond that, I really have no comments to report. I don’t notice any odd taste or smell, so they seem comparable to other vitamin D softgels I have taken… but with a much better price for the quantity. I will definitely be ordering these again.

I basically needed to get my vitamin D3 level up following my appointment. I was surprised to find this super inexpensive option to take occasionally. For some vitamin D3 deficiency, 2000 IU (50mcg) is the recommended daily intake. Clearly, this 5000 IU over that suggested value, but there are medical studies that suggest both ends of the spectrum for having no issues or causing other health problems with taking a higher dosage. There are also studies suggesting major statistical errors with these vitamin level clinical trials, so I’d suggest individuals make their own educated decisions. I find it ironic that it’s more expensive to buy fewer pills at a 2000 IU than a one year supply at this 5000 IU, so I just take this 2-3 times a week and let the body process out the equilibrium. The capsules are very small and easy to swallow. No taste.

These Vitamin D softgels are easy to swallow and seem to work well as vitamin D. The softgels appear to be high quality. The softgels are fairly small, translucent and beige in color. They have no odor to speak of. The directions say to take one per day, so you don’t have to take them often.
There are 360 softgels in the bottle, making it nearly a year’s supply. The expiration date is set 2 years out so that it supports the near year’s supply of softgels.
Overall, I’m giving these Nature’s Wonder Vitamin D softgels 5 stars because they’re easy to take, the bottle offers nearly a year’s supply and they are high quality.
