It’s well packaged and has enough supply of Resveratrol to keep you going for a couple of months, the capsules are standard size just like any other nutrition supplement, they are easy to swallow with water and there is nothing special about them. The expiration date is in a little over one year, my bottle has the date stamp 08/2023 on the bottom (today is 07/2022), which is good. Compared to my usual source of Resveratrol (which is Costco) I get 140 x 250 mg capsules for $19.99, while here I pay $17.09 for 60 x 600 mg. Let’s do a little math and Costco = 140*250/19.99 = 1751 mg/$, Truthentics = 60*600/17.08 = 2106 mg/$. Therefore, Truthentics has about a 20% better deal here.
So, I don’t have any complaints about the product itself or its cost, but I have a complaint about how it is marketed and advertised. The title in the product page says (and I quote) “1200mg Daily Serving”, then when you look at the bottle label face it only says, “60 natural capsules daily supplement”, so combining these two statements one would assume that it has 60 capsules with 1200mg in each. Oh, but wait, if you turn the bottle around and check supplement facts it actually says different – “Serving size 1 capsule, Resveratrol 600 mg”. So, what we have here is not 60 x 1200 mg daily servings, but only 30! Wow, this seems to be an intentionally misleading statement, you get twice less for your money than expected. Just for that I’m taking down one star.

Yes, I recommend this supplement. It has a whooping 600 mg in each capsule and is competitively priced, even lower than Costco. I only don’t like how it is marketed as a 1200 mg daily supplement, while in reality it’s 600 mg only. This is outright misleading and manipulative. But still, it’s a very good deal. Therefore, I’m giving it 4 stars and still recommend it.

The product details’ title states “1200mg Daily Serving”. This is a bit misleading. The Supplement Facts states a serving in 1 capsule, which contains 600mg Resveratrol. The directions indicates taking one capsule twice a day. So, technically you do get 1200mg per day; But, I feel the manner of wording, many will think that it’s 1200mg per serving. Based on their 2 capsule per day regimen, there’s a supply for 30 days.
I currently take a supplement with 600mg Resveratrol, with the same 50% Transresveratrol. So, this offers the same concentrations. Studies have identified transresveratrol as the key component of Resveratrol that contributes to the noted health and longevity benefits. So, until better concentrations of transresveratrol are available, this is the best ratio/concentration. A plus for this supplement.
Another positive is the certifications/badges on the product label: Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Made In The USA, FDA Registered Facility and GMP. Furthermore, the product details adds that the supplement is third party tested for safety and purity. The FDA and GMP certifications on the label ensures adherence to industry standards and practices, demonstrating the company attention to the quality of the ingredients and processing. These two aspects (and considering the third party testing) check off important quality control, assurance boxes.
I feel this is a good quality Resveratrol (50% TransResveratrol) supplement. It’s sensibly priced in the product niche, fitting in the mid-range of similar offerings. It rates 4.5 stars.

I have ordered this product multiple times because of the source of the Resveratrol. According to my research Japanese Knotweed, or Polygonum cuspidatum is best.

I like this company’s Resveratrol for several reasons but primarily for my blood pressure. I have high blood pressure and this product helped lower my blood pressure and keep it in a range my doctor is happy with. It’s a strong dose of Resveratrol at 600 mg a capsule made from Japanese Knotweed. The pills are easy to swallow, and the odor is a mild woodsy smell and totally fine. I highly recommend this product.

I’ve noticed a significant visible difference in the depth and amount of my wrinkles around eyes, smile, and neck together with bamboo extract. Also skin looks more firm….

Many people associate Resveratrol with grape skins but another good source is Japanese Knotweed (polygonum cuspidatum) which is what this supplement utilizes. This gives the capsule a more smokey flavor and smell than you may be accustomed to, but its still a very potent source of resveratrol.
I did some digging on the company and they look like a legitimate company that takes their quality control seriously, which is really important to me.
I’ve taken resveratrol for years and the amount per capsule always varies, as does the potency (this one contains 50% Trans-resveratrol) so I can understand the confusion over the dosage. I always prefer to take my resveratrol in the morning, so for me, I take two capsules of resveratrol first thing in the morning with my NMN and a spoonful of yogurt or some small amount of fat (to help the NMN absorb). There is some research that NMN and resveratrol work synergistically together. To add to that trio, I take Berberine at night, which some think is, arguably, the current trifecta in anti-aging.
So far, this resveratrol seems to be holding up well compared to other resveratrols I’ve used. I don’t think it is the most effective, but for the price, it is a great alternative.
