Nutritionally IMO this is a great product, but am sharing that the unflavored product definitely has a very strong beef flavor, similar to bouillon.

I opened the package and it didn’t really smell like anything. I used it in my morning smoothie. I did not like the taste at all. I tried to add other ingredients (which means more calories) in order to mask the flavor. It just tastes like beef broth and that’s not what I would expect for my morning smoothie.

This protein powder is sourced from grass-fed beef and is gluten-free adding to its appeal, promising a high-quality supplement. However, I encountered some drawbacks that affected my overall experience. The most significant issue is the taste; it’s quite unpalatable. As someone who regularly consumes protein supplements, I found the flavor of this one particularly challenging to get used to. It’s unflavored, which in theory means it should blend seamlessly with other ingredients, but its inherent taste is hard to mask. Additionally, the powder does not mix well. Despite vigorous shaking and blending, it tends to clump and doesn’t dissolve easily in liquids, which isn’t ideal when you’re in a hurry or trying to enjoy a smooth post-workout shake.

Very nice product. I didn’t notice any funky smell or nasty aftertaste to this protein powder at all. It mixes up instantly as soon as you put it in the water and it dissolves quickly. Highly recommend this product and I use it in my protein shakes and flavor with whatever I have on hand. I usually will sweeten it with some raw honey or agave syrup. Definitely recommend. Some of the products have I have seen out there come with a label with a California Proposition 65 warning on it. This one does not, considering it’s grass-fed it’s probably your best value on Amazon.

I like how overall clean this oscillate is, but with it being flavorless there is only a certain couple of ways to utilize the powder and it be palatable. I generally mix it in with other stuff that I’m making so that it’s not the primary protein source or the primary flavor that I’ll be tasting. Basically just adding it as additional protein to other dishes. I have made a really good beef stew and added it into that since it’s complementary. I’ve also used it in various baking applications where I only wanted to boost the protein content a small amount. Overall the protein seems to be extremely good quality. I’ve never actually drank it straight so I’m not entirely sure how it mixes with just water or whatever you would mix it with, but it definitely doesn’t have the same results on my digestion as some of the whey based proteins which can be hard on my stomach.

Ok, first of all the reviews about flavor are ridiculous and perhaps come from people used to fake “flavors”! I was looking for a good quality pure beef isolate protein and that’s exactly what I got! The flavor is so good that I can eat it with a spoon! You can easily have it with plane water in my opinion. Or you can simply add coconut water, or milk, a bit of cinnamon powder… or whatever else and it’s gonna be delicious! This is going to be my go to powder!

Normally beef, protein powder spikes my triglyceride levels and this brand did not! it’s an excellent product

I wanted to try a different brand of unflavored grass-fed beef protein powder as a comparison, since I usually order Prime Protein by Equip.
The smell when opening the bag was off-putting, and the strong taste as well as the odor dominated the smoothies I made, even when adding flavor extracts; it reminds me of broccoli or mustard greens going bad in the refrigerator, which really takes away from a delicious drink!
I will not be buying this again…
