1st thing I do with new edible item i buy is to figure out if the ingredients are real or not and if pills/gummys contains the listed ingredients.
After I cut open the capsule I did get sprayed even though I was using very sharp knife and was trying to be cautious. As you can imagine the spray smelled like fish oil, not too fishy but better then standard fish oil that I take. Definitely looked and smelled like more expensive quality of standard oil maybe more like codd fish oil, also definitely had other ingredients in it which I’m assuming are vitamins etc.
The bottle is well made completely black to prevent light/uv from damaging/degrading the oils/vitamins. Bottles is great size for travelers.
I’m impressed by this brand and going to try their other products, can’t be too healthy now days.

There’s a quite a lot of fish oil supplements out there and they’re often the same stuff, but vary in source, EPA/DHA ratio, other lipids of interest, bioavailability / manner of delivery, quality of heavy metals filtration.
This fish oil appears to be sourced from a variety of fish, which might mean it’s procured in concentrate form. It is DHA-heavy which means it will have more of an inflammation benefit and less support for brain health (from EPA). This product ads tocotrienols which support cardiovascular health (and I’m pleased to see because I usually add it separately). They make no mention of heavy metal filtration – it’s probably safe to assume that they have do, but I wish companies would still declare it and what standard or process they employ (is it part of GMP?).
MyBrainCo here employs some proprietary deliver technology called AquaCelle which is described this way:
“AquaCelle® is a lipid based formulation that self-assembles into a micellar colloidal delivery system in aqueous environments (such as the stomach) at body temperature. These micelles are what envelop fat-soluble ingredients, helping their benefits to be absorbed more fully into the body.”
It sounds like the collection of lipids reacts to water in a way that coalesces them into protective “blobs” rather than disperses them in water where they’d be directly exposed to acids and enzymes. It might be similar to the way casein reacts to acid, and curdles into gel blobs that delay some of the protein from being broken down. It might also be similar to liposomal delivery in that the lipid is protecting something else, which is just another lipid here. At least that’s my layman’s take.
What difference does that make, objectively? Don’t know. I’d like to know that, it might be meaningful in comparing this to other fish oil supplements.
I really want to express appreciation to whoever designed this bottle. It’s a small thing but I love this black, understated design and the soft paint or coating they used on the outside of the bottle. It’s a little, unexpected bit of luxury. Very nice.

Omega 3 can come from various sources, with the main ones being fish and krill, but also plant based such as flax or algae. This omega 3 supplement is made from fix and also contains vitamins D and E. The concentration of Omega 3 (to include DHA and EPA) is pretty good and I’d say higher than most. It claims to have vitamin E from DeltaGold and Omega from VivoMega, which are said to help with absorption and concentration. I don’t know that I can tell you if there’s any noticeable difference other than it seems to compare well against some of the nicer omega 3 supplements I have tried.
The supplement comes in some dark green, semi-transparent gel capsules. The capsules are what I consider average for a fish based omega 3 supplement and are relatively easy to swallow. There is some odor to them, but it is mild and not fishy. The supplement contains some lemon, which I think is getting to be more common with fish based omega supplements and helps to provide a mild lemon flavor and smell to the capsules and I think is refreshing (like putting a slide of lemon in a glass of cold water).

Seems like a good product BUT DO NOT TAKE ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. I burped them up and (if you could imagine) tasted like a fish tank.

These were a rare supplement that really impressed me almost immediately. The overall quality is very apparent, and the pills seem to be the real deal in what is perhaps a world full of knockoff oil supplements. The bottle arrived well marked and sealed, and the pills are clean and free from any residue. As gel, these pills are very easy to swallow with even a small amount of water. Unlike similar fish oil supplements, these don’t leave any fishy aftertaste, and really don’t taste like anything at all. I’ve taken DHA and EPA over the years as a cognitive boost/preserver, and these seem like they’re exactly as promised. Would recommend if you’re looking for a supplement with these ingredients, as this brand seems like a winner.

This is a great omega 3 supplement which includes many sources including fish and krill oil. I am a long time fish oil supplement user and notice a difference when I quit taking them. I found these to be quite good which are easy to take leaving no aftertaste, no stomach or GI issues and no burping of fishy taste.
Overall good value for the cost, would recommend.

I take an omega 3 supplement every day for the heart healthy benefits. This supplement stands out from others since it also includes vitamin E and vitamin D3. I find it interesting that the product description focuses on its brain health support; it is supposed to promote a more balanced mood and support your nervous system. The pills are easy to swallow, not too fishy in taste or smell, and I have noticed no side effects after trying them out. The bottle and packaging also seem to be of high quality. Overall, I recommend trying these out if you are interested in an omega 3 supplement with some additional benefits.
