This BIONUTRI brand Omega-3 Fish Oil Supplement provides 3000mg of Omega-3 fish oil per serving along with 540mg EPA and 360mg DHA. The softgels are flavorless and easy to swallow and each bottle contains a one month supply. The label says they are burpless and I didn’t have any stomach or digestion difficulty after taking them. This oil has gone through a distillation process to remove heavy metal and other harmful substances which is a very big plus. The potential health support functions of Omega-3 are numerous so it is nice to have an easy to swallow pure source of Omega-3 fish oil. These supplements are processed in the USA from wild caught ocean fish. I am very pleased with this fish oil supplement and would order it again.

These aren’t as strong and effective as my favorite brand, which is the Now DHA 500. I’ve taken these for several days and my joint pain has reappeared. After I switched over to my regular brand, the pain is gone.

I like that these softgels don’t have a fishy aftertaste, and they’re made to absorb well. They’re also purified to remove contaminants and made in a certified facility in the USA. They’re gluten-free, dairy-free, and non-GMO, which is a plus.
The only downside for me is that you need to take 3 capsules a day, which adds up if you already take other supplements. But if you want a solid omega-3 supplement, this one seems worth a try.

This is what I needed for my cardiovascular health maintenance per my physician. As per the description it’s almost, though not completely, “burpless.”
Some quibbles with this particular product involve third-party testing and lab test availability. It claims to be laboratory tested for impurities such as heavy metals, a major concern with concentrated fish products such as these. I see no specifics much less links to batch results on where, when, or whether this occurred. Likewise, the USA origins are claimed but remain unproven. This is common with many smaller brand dietary supplements these days. Knowing the types of fish or shellfish used would be helpful as well.
The price seems excessive. Rival brands readily available on both Amazon and in most retail stores commonly cost 1/3 what these are currently going for. The manufacturer recommends a three capsule ‘serving,’ though I greatly enjoyed a brand involving a single pill dose previously. Your ability to ration a lower dosage could be seen as a benefit, I suppose. The manufacturer may be implying that it’s best to spread out one capsule with each meal, though that would spread out the inconvenience of taking it to an all day affair as well.

For me personally, I didn’t have any major health problems I was trying to solve before taking this BIO NUTRI Omegas supplement. I’m relatively young for heart problems, so of course I wouldn’t see a huge improvement in my heart health if I wasn’t having issues to begin with. My major reason for taking these was to get more fatty acids in my diet and taking pills with exactly what I need is the way I do it.
Another thing I am keeping in mind is that I RARELY feel the difference in my body when I take supplements, which I discovered was due to my poor absorption. So to be clear, this fish oil may be very effective itself, it’s just that my own system has trouble taking in nutrients. I’m working on that with a doctor and I’m feeling better in general, so I’m sure the newer supplements I’m taking are helping me now! My doctor wanted me to keep taking fish oil, so it must be important to balance out my diet. I only take one per day, as my doctor prescribed. I have been taking this fish oil for about a year.
As advertised, I really don’t get a fishy aftertaste. If you feel like taking a big whiff of the bottle, yeah you’ll smell it, but I don’t taste that in my mouth. I don’t notice a lemon flavor like it says – it’s pretty much tasteless. The pill itself is pretty large, which is harder for me since I have trouble swallowing pills in general. But if I take it only once a day, it’s worth it. I also don’t burp from this!! Which is insane because I burp up way too many things I consume.
I gave it 5 stars because I do really need this in my diet and it seems to be doing the trick. All of my issues of absorbing it, or swallowing it, are just me personally so I didn’t want to take a star off for that. Plus my health was not in a dire state before, so there wouldn’t be a significant difference for me. I feel my health improved in general.
