So the labeling on the product itself is accurate but the Amazon page description is misleading because it says NAD supplement in large letters but actually the supplement features precursors of NAD like nicotinamide riboside and reservatol. Also, these are manufactured FOR a company based in the USA but the actual location of manufacture is not specified, which is regrettable. Two stars off for each. Otherwise, pills are easy to swallow and flavorless. Pills arrive in soft packages, not a bottle, as pictured.

While I appreciate the benefits of NAD supplements, this product’s presentation is a bit misleading. The label emphasizes NAD, but it primarily contains precursors like nicotinamide riboside and resveratrol, which isn’t clearly explained in the description. Transparency matters, especially when making health decisions. That said, I’m committed to natural solutions for long-term well-being and avoiding the cycle of pharmaceuticals I’ve seen harm loved ones. Supplements like these might not deliver instant results, but their value often lies in the subtle, long-term support they provide. This seems like a viable supplement, but for this product to gain my full trust, clearer labeling and manufacturing transparency are essential.

I’ve been taking NAD plus for a while now and will continue to take it for the rest of my life. Although I don’t always directly find that I feel the effects of something that I’m taking, that doesn’t mean I should stop taking it. Not everything is a miracle drug, and going to make you feel fantastic, but if it can make you grow old and healthy, it would be worth it. Sometimes things silently work on us without us knowing it.
I am completely against pharmaceuticals and will try to avoid them at all costs. I am 57 years old and watched both of my parents decline in their 70s, the decline was quick and I partially blame The fact that both of my parents were on multiple pharmaceutical medication’s. I didn’t know it at the time, after my father passed away my mom was doing fine on her own until she hit mid 70s and then started going downhill very fast. When I started taking over her healthcare, I realized she was on 18 different medication’s prescribed by the doctors. She had been on those for a very long time and I never knew. I went through all of her medication’s, and realized that she didn’t need most of those, and when I talked to her doctor, he agreed that she could stop taking them! Shame on the doctors for putting her on them, it’s just another way for them to make money without taking into consideration what it’s doing to people.
So taking things that are natural, I am all for it. I am on multiple. God made supplements that I believe are keeping me at 57 years old off of all pharmaceutical medications, I have never been on a prescription for anything.
I did a lot of research on NAD plus and for me, making sure that it’s liposomal is very important because that helps the body absorb the active ingredients. If it doesn’t say liposomal on it, chances are, your body’s is going to flush it out before it even absorbs it.
Definitely look up the benefits of NAD plus, do some research and take care of yourself The best way you can. After watching my parents decline, both of them were falling down often it was very sad to see, and I’m going to do everything in my power to not let that happen to myself.

Although no studies have been done on the long term effects of NAD supplements yet, all of the initial studies seem positive, and there are no obviously harmful ingredients. After listing all of the information on the label into g p t, this is the information I was given back. Based on this, I feel good moving forward and would recommend. I’ll update if I notice any side effects, but haven’t experienced anything after 2 weeks of taking.

Potential Effects
1. Nicotinamide Riboside (NR) – 500 mg:
• NR is a precursor to NAD+, a molecule essential for cellular energy production and repair.
• Potential benefits include:
• Improved energy metabolism.
• Enhanced cellular repair mechanisms, including DNA repair.
• Support for brain health and cognitive function.
• Potential anti-aging effects by promoting mitochondrial health.
• Evidence: Early research in humans suggests NR can raise NAD+ levels, but the direct health benefits (especially long-term) are still being studied.
2. Quercetin (250 mg):
• Quercetin is a flavonoid with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
• Potential benefits include:
• Reduced inflammation, which can contribute to chronic diseases.
• Immune system support.
• Possible cardiovascular benefits, such as improved blood vessel function.
• Phytosome Complex: The use of a phytosome complex increases absorption, as quercetin typically has poor bioavailability.
3. Trans-Resveratrol (150 mg):
• Found in grapes and red wine, resveratrol is an antioxidant thought to activate SIRT1, a protein linked to longevity.
• Potential benefits include:
• Improved cardiovascular health by protecting blood vessels and reducing LDL oxidation.
• Anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties.
• Potential neuroprotective effects.
• Evidence: Most benefits are supported by animal studies, with limited but promising human evidence.
Concerns and Safety
1. Dosages:
• NR (500 mg): Safe in clinical studies at doses up to 1000 mg/day.
• Quercetin (250 mg): Safe in this dose, especially as a phytosome for better absorption.
• Resveratrol (150 mg): Generally well-tolerated at doses up to 500 mg/day.
2. Other Ingredients:
• Rice flour, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, and magnesium stearate are common excipients and generally recognized as safe.
3. Potential Side Effects:
• NR: Rarely, mild gastrointestinal discomfort or flushing.
• Quercetin: In high doses, it can cause headaches or kidney issues, but this dose is considered safe.
• Resveratrol: May thin blood slightly, so it could increase bleeding risk if taken with blood-thinning medications.
4. Interactions:
• NR and quercetin: Minimal known interactions.
• Resveratrol: May interact with anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin) or antiplatelet drugs.
• Quercetin and resveratrol may also interact with some medications metabolized by the liver (e.g., cytochrome P450).
5. Long-Term Safety:
• The long-term safety of combining these ingredients isn’t fully studied. However, at these doses, the risk of harm appears minimal for a healthy individual.
Would I Feel Safe Taking It?
Yes, for a healthy 41-year-old woman, this supplement seems safe based on the provided information. However, I would recommend:
1. Consulting a healthcare provider if you:
• Take medications (especially blood thinners or liver-metabolized drugs).
• Have chronic health conditions.
2. Monitoring for side effects, especially during the first few weeks.
3. Avoiding over-supplementation: If you’re already taking other antioxidants or NAD+ boosters, this might not be necessary.
Summary
This supplement could support cellular health, metabolic function, and anti-inflammatory processes, with potential benefits for energy levels, cardiovascular health, and overall well-being. If you’re healthy, it appears safe to try, but you should be mindful of interactions and monitor how you feel while taking it.
