Big doses like I like. I take 2 of these before bed. 3-4 after a fast. Best kind of magnesium. The glycine is great for you too especially if you eat a lot of meat.

This product is very similar to two other magnesium supplements that I’ve recently reviewed, so I’m guessing that they are all sourced from the same overseas manufacturer and bottled in the USA.
I like that it’s made in a GMP facility and bottled in the USA. I also like that they are very forthcoming about how much elemental magnesium you get per dose. A total of 140 mg per two-capsule dose in this case. Many magnesium supplements fail to give you this information and only tell you how much magnesium glycinate is in the product. Magnesium glycinate is only about 14% magnesium. Knowing how much elemental magnesium you get per dose is very important so that you know whether you are getting enough to meet you daily needs. Most Americans are grossly deficient in magnesium.
What I don’t like is that it’s more than three times the cost of my regular magnesium supplement, which is also fully chelated magnesium glycinate. So, for that reason, I can’t give it a full 5-star review.

’ve used magnesium glycinate before and found a better quality product, but this one is still decent. It does its job and helps with muscle relaxation and sleep quality, though I noticed it’s a bit less effective than other brands I’ve tried. Overall, it’s a good supplement . If you’re new to magnesium glycinate, this would be a great starting point.

This is a basic bottle of magnesium glycinate. Upon opening the bottle, there is no bad smell. The capsules are typical size and easy to swallow with no aftertaste. You do need to take 2 for a serving.
The bottle does state that it is made in a GMP facility, though there is no mention of third party testing. The price point is definitely good for the amount you receive.

I was told that magnesium glycinate is the preferred formulation of magnesium supplement because it has better absorption and is gentler on the stomach. This particular supplement is a lower dose of magnesium, which means I can be more flexible with my dosing – take anywhere from 1-4 capsules depending on the dose I need that day. That’s useful because you can’t split a higher dose capsule if you need to take less. These capsules are larger than I’m used to, which is interesting since the dose is lower. That being said, I do not have any difficulty swallowing them.
I took one star off because although these are labeled as ‘bottled in the USA in a GMP certified facility’, there is no information about where the actual product is sourced or manufactured. Just because a supplement is bottled in the US doesn’t mean the supplement is made there. These could be made anywhere, and really haven’t been certified in a meaningful way.

I can’t say enough good things about this magnesium supplement. I’ve tried so many others and they either upset my stomach, made me feel off, or just didn’t do anything noticeable. This one is has never upset my stomach, even when taken on an empty stomach.
The biggest change I’ve noticed is how much calmer and more relaxed I feel. My sleep has been amazing since I started taking this brand—I fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and I’m not tossing and turning all night like I used to. It’s also been a huge help with muscle tightness, especially after a stressful day or a tough workout. My body definitely feels more relaxed!

Built by Nature seems like a solid company based in the USA in Bluff, Utah. The magnesium glycinate is easier on the stomach/intestines than other types of magnesium, and it is 100% chelated for better absorption. The company has a good website with contact information. The badge on the bottle says “Bottled in the USA.” Does that mean it’s manufactured in the USA? Please clarify. The bottle also carries the GMP seal (Good Manufacturing Practices.) Seems like a good product – thank you!

I take Magnesium every night and every morning for my overall health. The Glycinate form is the best absorbed without some of the gastric side effects of other forms. The thing I like most about this particular product versus the CostCo brand is that I only need to take one to rival the dose of taking 2 of the other. That makes it a great value and it helps me sleep at night and supports my muscles, bones, heart and nerves.
