This is.a supplement that contains glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, and calcium. This a commonly recommended combination used to supplement joint health. Although scientific studies haven’t created any consensus on the proper daily dosage, typically it’s around 1500mg for glucosamine and 1200mg to chondroitin. With 4 pills (recommended dosage) these give you 1600mg of glucosamine and 250mg chondroitin, which doesn’t quite line up. But given the lack of consensus, this seems like a reasonable regimen to try.
The pills themselves are normal sized, easy to swallow, and haven’t caused me any issues.

My 86 year old mother has been taking a glucosamine chondroitin supplement for arthritis for years and she swears by it, insistimg it helps with her joint stiffness and pain. So I decided to give it a try.
I haven’t really been taking it long enough to notice any difference, but I did do some research before I received it and there are some encouraging studies on its effectiveness in easing stiffness and joint pain.
I do like that this supplement appears to have all natural ingredients (or at least there is nothing weird listed on the bottle), and that the price is reasonable. The capsules aren’t overly large like some supplements, but since I have a hard time with swallowing anything bigger than an aspirin, I’m glad the taste isn’t horrible, because I can just open them and mix the powder in with a little yogurt or applesauce to take it. So far, so good. I haven’t had any upset stomach or other adverse side effects taking them that way, so I’m going to keep taking them for at least a few months to give them a chance to work.

While I cannot say that what’s inside the capsules is what’s advertised, I can say that I didn’t notice any issues taking these compared to other glucosamine supplements.
I’ve been taking glucosamine chondroitin supplements for years and find it very effective. My aching knees and bad shoulder (torn rotator cuff) both stopped bothering me. Of course, this was with exercise, but after years of exercise alone I can say that’s not enough. If you’ve got joint issues and the will to go through some light exercises, I highly recommend these supplements as a potential solution.

Serving size is 4 capsules, so the label rounds down to indicate an odd 37 servings in the container. I believe this demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy, making the product highly credible in my eyes.
The supplement facts list the following deliveries for each serving of 4 capsules…
Glucosamine 1.6 gram, which is above average and plentiful.
Chondroitin sulfate 250 mg, widely used for treatment of osteoarthritis, although large clinical trials failed to demonstrate any symptomatic benefit.
MethylSulfonylMethane (MSM) 100 mg, which has no RDA. Some small studies and clinical trials indicate MSM is beneficial for treatment of oxidative stress and osteoarthritis. Compared to similar products that only deliver 60 mg, this supplement is again above average.
Calcium carbonate 100 mg. I believe 100% of DV is 1.3 g, so 100 mg here is 7.6%, a low amount whose DV the label does not bother to specify (but is OK as a freebie add-on nutrient).
This product delivers an above average amount of glucosamine and MSM, but other nutrients have dubious value. I rate it four and half stars.

The benefits of Glucosamine Chondroitin has been well documented for years. I am now of the age that I need it – bad knees, sore hips, etc.! I know people that swear by it so I am excited to see the benefits in the coming weeks. What I am not excited about is taking 4 per day….. 20-30 minutes before a meal with 8 oz of water. I am not good at remembering ahead of time so will need to figure that out, but taking 4? Swallowing pills is not easy for me but at least these are capsules so hopefully will be better. I will update in about a month if I do not see any results beginning.

This supplement does contain all the goodness to support your joints and honestly I do feel there is a benefit from taking this. This supplement contains Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM and Calcium carbonate where many others like the ones I have been taking have Glucosamine and Chondroitin, Glucosamine and MSM and up until now I have been on the Glucosamine and MSM with a separate dose of Calcium. The price is okay for a 37 day supply, 150 pills 4 pill dosage and the pills are not large and go down easy with water or any other liquid. There is no smell or odd taste, these are worth giving a try if you are looking for something for joint health.
