I’ve only been taking this for just under a week so I don’t want to review on how it’s affected me just yet since I believe it may be too soon to tell.
I did however wanted to leave a review for those who have said they can’t get over the taste.
I have been able to easily mask the taste of it with no problem. I’ve been using it in my iced Califia farms Mocha coffee with almond milk. I was worried with the reviews that’d it’d ruin the taste of my coffee but it completely masked it and have been able to drink it all with absolutely no problem.
I also make banana and almond milk smoothies with peanut butter and cinnamon and have t been able to taste it in that either. It definitely changed the colour of the smoothie but I have yet to taste it. I did smell it a bit at first so I added an extra quarter of banana and a few drops more of almond milk. It masked the taste completely.
I WILL say that when I got an iced chai latte from Starbucks and put it in there that it COMPLETELY ruined the taste of the drink. I assume because a chai latte isn’t strong enough in its own flavour to mask it.
Play around with different drinks and I can assure you you’ll find something to hide the taste and be able to take your dose of iron! Good luck. 🙂 I will be sure to update once I get my bloodwork done.
UPDATE:
it’s been a few weeks now – still having great luck at hiding the taste in my iced coffees/smoothies! I get my results from my blood work next week so I will update then-however-I do notice I’m not as lethargic as I have been. Don’t get me wrong, my energy levels are still low and I am still feeling tired but it’s not nearly as bad as it was for several months straight (especially since it was getting worse for a while). Since I haven’t been doing anything differently, I know for a fact it’s this iron that’s working. I’ll update with my blood work stats!
Update 2:
I got my blood work results and my doctor recommended I keep using this product as they see a massive improvement! I continue to use this with my Mocha cold brew coffee by Califia Farms each morning. Masks the taste completely and I’m getting my energy back! Final review: if you’re like me and suffer from anemia and low iron, this works wonders.

My holistic/herbalist doctor recommended this iron. After a few weeks of taking it, I didn’t need to take an afternoon nap every day like I had done for most of my life. One of my Amazon subscription bottles had been crushed, and I contacted the supplier (Triquestra Health) as instructed by Amazon. They were immediately concerned and very helpful. I will gladly continue to get this iron as a monthly subscription.

UPDATE: Had this since November. About 3 months now. At first it was all good. stored it in fridge for 2 days (when I was feeling iffy about not storing in fridge.) and the dropper grew crystals on it. I contacted the seller, 2 days later, they said it was fine and still good to take. I just washed the crystals off.
Well, a few days ago I noticed the iron is separating. Little chunks of something sink to the bottom even when you shake it up.
Not sure how this affects the product but just looking at it is kind of gross. Don’t want to use anymore. Even if the chunks are part of the good stuff you can’t really get them in the dropper anyways now.
Just got this about a week ago. Seems good so far. Like the liquids better than pills or chews, can’t swallow pills well and don’t like the taste of most gummies. Can just add a bit to a shot of juice and be done with it. haha. Had a iron deficiency since I was a kid. It’s great to finally have something easy to take
Gave 4 stars because they don’t tell you how to store this or how long it’ll last after opening. Do they need to be in the fridge or not…? I had to look it up on google and tape it on bottle so I don’t forget or question it. Also, when it arrived the lid was not on tight enough. It had leaked a little bit. Not much but enough to see a dried line down the bottle and smell it when I opened the package.
Please put storage info on your labels or at the very least in the description of the page so people like me don’t have to wonder if they’re going to mess up a $20 bottle of vitamins/minerals.

Over time I have purchased several of the company’s products with majority repeat orders. I trust the brand. However two weeks ago the iron tincture arrived with a cracked plastic ring (seal). The liquid that leaked out left a crusty residue around the neck and down the label. I was told by the company it’s fine, shake it well and use it. Silly me, I followed her instructions. The next morning, I had developed a frightening neurological problem a-kid to shaken baby syndrome. Since taking the iron tincture Im unable to lay my head level with my body for sleep. I’m having to sleep with my head substantially raised. And, from this position, I’ve not been able to regularly sit-up without severe dizziness and body quivering uncontrollably. Same frightening reaction when lying down. I hope and pray the brain will soon readjusts.

Day 1 & 2… I tried 1 drop by itself and immediately lost my meal. Day 2, I gradually added the 5 drops into a small glass of V-8 juice to taste. The juice hid the taste and the Vit C helps the absorption of the iron. So win-win! Day 3 will be so much easier! ::crossing fingers::
