Was skeptical as to whether or not these would actually work, but decided to give them a shot.
My wife has always had a hard time with milk (stomach aches) and my 5 year old has had the same thing since birth. Neither would eat cereal or anything cause of it and daughter had to have soy milk as a baby. Ordered these and no my daughter asks for cereal for dinner. Last night she had 3 bowls and no problems. Easy for her to swallow and works great.
Wife says the best thing about them is they are INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED. She throws a couple in her purse just in case she may ever need them.
Lactaid worked great. Next time we will be ordering the larger box.

For about a year, I bought my LACTAID Fast Act from Costco, which offered it without tax (as it should be in Illinois,) or ship/hdlg. About two months ago they discontinued it in favor of their house brand, a brand which doesn’t inspire the same level of confidence in me. ¶ So, on a whim I tried AMAZON, and lo and behold, AMAZON has it. I think they have outpriced the entire world by now. ¶ Due to health conditions which obviously include lactose intolerance, I consume a lot of this; perhaps 90 caplets lasts me three weeks, so this is an expensive purchase for me. The AMAZON price was better than the one I could have gotten even had I ordered directly from the Lactaid people. ¶ The shipment arrived a day sooner than I expected, which seems to be AMAZON’s norm. My only gripe is that there is a 270-caplet ‘bonus’-[bonus] size which is not covered by “Amazon Prime.” ¶ None-the-less, my heroes are the folks at AMAZON ! There isn’t one department that has failed me yet. Atta boy, Jeff B. and persons unknown…

I have used this product for several years now. I have had lactose intolerance for many years and used to avoid all milk products. Since I enjoy cheese, ice cream, etc. it has been wonderful to find this product of which I take 2 tablets then eat what I want in terms of milk products without the prior cramping and diarrhea In used to suffer.

This is really the only way for a lactose intolerant ice cream lover to enjoy some dairy. Typically, two pills per bowl of ice cream work well. I typically take one pill with the first bite, and the second pill about halfway through. It works like a charm. No upset stomach or other unpleasant side effects.

I love cheese, but my body does not tolerate dairy so well. I would be extremely miserable without this product and cannot live without it. It allows me to be able to enjoy the things I love and live a normal life free of discomfort. Just realize though that you have to take this every time you eat dairy, not just once a day or you aren’t helping yourself. Also, I find that raw dairy products are harder on me than cooked dairy and I sometimes need two of these, but I need them less and less when I am good about using them. Also, these work way better than the chewables.

The product is great, the packaging was terrible. It’s a good thing that it was caplets otherwise, it would have been broken. The lactaid box was in a envelope type package and it looked like someone sat on it!!!

My mother became lactose intolerant a few years ago. Initially I did not believe her because I did not think that it was possible to develop an allergy so late in life…..until it happened to me! And I drink milk – I don’t drink coffee, I don’t drink tea – I drink A BIG GLASS OF milk THREE times a day. Naturally becoming lactose intolerant was quite inconvenient for me! My best friend told me about these. I was skeptical but now after a year, both my mum and I are firm believers. I take two pills for each glass of milk. I also like that they are affordable

When I started taking Lactaid, I’d thought that it would let me eat dairy products without having any symptoms a 100% of the time. Unfortunately it is not true. Sometimes I still suffer from lactosis intolerance. I learnt that some times I have to take more than 1 caplet and also that some times I can take only half a caplet, depending on the amount of milk, butter or cheese. In spite of that, Lactaid allowed me to have an almost normal life again.
