Supplements help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food, and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to get to know the company and product better, to help you determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.
I love flip-top lids on supplement
This bottle comes about 75% full, which isn’t bad nowadays.
If used as directed it will last 62 days.
The expiration date on mine (THANK YOU for not putting it on the bottom!) is Apr 2027, a little more than 2.5 years from now.
The capsules have a light herbal scent and taste, and are easy to swallow with water.
I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. The product page says non-GMO, lab tested (does not indicate if by 3rd party), packaged in the USA, and has a GMP stamp. Doctor’s Way is related to Horbaach, which has a long history in the supplement industry and they manufacture in the USA.
I have started looking at supplement companies more closely because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. I recently discovered that Horbaach shares some roots with Carlyle Nutritionals and Tahoe Nutritionals, and I trust all three; it began back in 1971. Their horbaach site is functional, as is their phone number (which is on the bottle and on their site).
I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I like the company, the quality of ingredients (except for the fillers that many companies say they need to use, but the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to), and the price.
Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

I decided to give Doctor’s Way Turmeric Curcumin Supplement a shot, especially with its 2000mg dose and the added black pepper extract. It’s non-GMO and gluten-free, which is great for my dietary needs. However, I found it to be not as potent as some of the other brands I regularly use.
While I appreciate the quality and the sheer number of capsules (250 is quite a stash!), I was hoping for that familiar kick that usually comes with my turmeric supplements. It’s decent, but if you’re used to the strong stuff, you might find yourself searching for a little extra oomph.
Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a gentle option, but if you’re after that extra potency, you might want to keep shopping around!

Turmeric is a great supplement for joint pain. I have been taking it for few years and I can feel the difference when I didn’t take it. You have take 4 pills though. It is very effective and the caps are easy to swallow.

It’s definitely a good product as far as I can tell. 2000mg is a large dose and it take large dose to be effective in my case. I take it for its anti-inflammatory functions and I believe that it helps over time.

I got this Doctor’s Way Turmeric supplement in recently and it works really well. I like that it’s no GMOs and that it’s per turmeric, I don’t want anything added to any supplement I take. This does have black pepper in it but that’s to help the turmeric absorb better into the body. This is a high potency as well at 2000 mg which is what I was hunting for. They also give you 62 servings or 2 months worth. It’s 4 soft gels per serving so if you wanted to stretch out the servings and get 1000 mg’s per serving you could just take 2 soft gels and get double the amount or 4 months worth. I really like this turmeric supplement and I would recommend it.
