Ok, I was skeptical but after seeing Dave Asprey mention novasol as the best type, I tried this one. I don’t love the ingredients but holy crap I swear in like 4 days my scary knee pain was gone!! Def recommend

I have much inflammation/pain related to an bad accident accident that damaged my knees, hip & back years ago. Because also I have A-fib, I can not take inflammation reducing NSAIDs like naproxin sodium or supplements with blood thinning side affects like black pepper (which is often put in turmeric to make it more usable by the body). I will not take narcotics which have been offered by several doctors. I used to teach graduate level research courses in the health sciences and have used my skills to search the scientific information available on supplements which is easily available from a number of sources such as Consumer Labs, the Peoples Pharmacy, & Google Scholar etc. This quest has led me to use the following to reduce my inflammation and pain: A good quality of Boswellia Serrata Extract (like that made by Swanson, a top choice of Consumer Labs). I take 200 to 300 mg boswellia two to three times a day IN COMBINATION with A1 Vitality Turmeric (2 pills a day). I use A1 because tumeric tends to increase the anti-inflammatory properties of boswellia while also having inflation reducing benefits of its own. This combo has helped me stay almost pain free throughout the day and night. One other thing…boswellia (which is well researched and has been used to reduce inflammation in India health care for hundreds of years) works better when taken with fats so, I take it when I take my Omega 3 capsules…taking the boswellia & turmeric combo with a fatty meal should also work. The human body is complex. Taking several high quality supplements, in combo, that are well researched may be a better way to reduce more severe cases of inflammation & pain. You may not need to take as much as I do, so start slow and gradually increase if you get a result. For me, the boswellia greatly reduced my pain levels but, I would wake up in pain. A1 Vitality turmeric in combo is what helped me reduce may pain around the clock.

I had tried another brand that was high pricey and it was messy cause it was a concentrate. These softgels aren’t messy and getting all over and I am maintaining a very minimal pain for the first time in years. Great product, for the price.

My previous rave review was up for a good long while. I don’t know if this one replaces it, or joins it on Amazon. I take curcumin every day, except when I cycle off for a week or two to give my body a break. Curcumin is one of the best and most powerful things you can put into your body and brain. However, as most now know, it’s very bio-UNavailable. A number of recent modalities have emerged that attempt to overcome this. First was bioperine (black pepper) followed by others, many based on decent science. They all improve bio-availability to a degree. I think it’s somewhat individual. There isn’t a lot of human testing on the patented NovaSol delivery modality – I wish there were more, but I do know this. It works irrefutably for me. I can feel the difference within minutes. A1 is a great company, I am a repeat buyer from them and find their pricing fair and response professional. And no, I don’t get a free bottle for writing this, or any other perk. But marketers of the NovaSol product should pressure Aquanova AG of Germany to do more human testing and present the results. Longvida does.

We are taking it on and off for several years. It eliminates pain in joints and calms down any inflammation. You can take it on it’s own or taken together with tigovit green tea extract it does even better. There are studies that observed an even more effective use when EGCG and tumeric curcumin are taken together. We turned on a number of our yoga students on to it. Usually my husband orders it, before I get to it.

Chronic, low-level inflammation is common, under-diagnosed and the root of many types of general malaise. Read Deepak Chopra’s “The Healing Self” for more background information. I’m on the anti-inflammation quest and was looking for a good turmeric supplement.
I’m now on my third bottle, and I like it so much that I’ve since ordered several bottles for friends and family. I would say this is as good as “Smarter Turmeric” and about $10 less expensive. One of the bottles I purchased had a few leaked pills (I live in Hawaii, so it’s possible it was a shipping issue), but the customer service I received was stellar.
I was skeptical of the claims of 185X increased bioavailability, etc. but A1 linked me to the peer-reviewed article, which references the NovaSOL technology in its methods section.
Good product, good customer service.
Update: I have tried two other “enhanced” turmeric formulations, including the more expensive formulation by “SmarterNutrition” — I prefer these. The SmarterNutrition formulation upsets my stomach and comes up like reflux, even when taken with food. The A1Vitality version, however, is easily absorbed by my body.
My only complaint is the gelatin the pills are made with. Please switch to plant-based gel cap. Thank you
