I like mushrooms in all their forms, both to eat and to take in supplement form. I prefer my supplements to be of natural origin, and I like that these are a single species at a time rather than the ten kinds of mushrooms all in one supplement. I take one every morning, and have experienced zero negative side effects. I also like that this is a four month supply and that the recommended dosage is only one a day. It seems like a lot of supplements these days want you to take two or even four a day— and that gets to be a whole lot to swallow, literally.

Excellent quality supplements. Everything from Wise Plants is top notch. Brewing Chaga in the traditional manner is time consuming and messy – these supplements may not be quite as effective but are far more convenient. There is no flavor, and they are effective. Chaga is an amazing supplement. Everything from the ingredients to the packaging/labelling, etc is high quality. I would not hesitate to buy any supplements from Wise Plants.

These capsules are stale. Does not pour out easily into a cup of coffee. Will not use this company or supplier for future orders. Would not recommend this company/manufacturer to others.

I have heard good things about Chaga mushroom as a supplement, so I got these for immune support help. The pills are nicely sized, not too big. They contain 500mg of the chaga extract. These are USDA organic, so you can be sure that they have been made to the correct standards. There was a large barcode sticker right on the label, so it is a little hard to read all the information on the label.

Came without outer packaging. Sealed inside. No manufactures date or expiration date. Generally speaking, supplements are retain potency for 2 years from the manufacturers date, but since there isn’t one…. I’m not sure I’ll take it at all.
The packaging is really cute, but it’s annoying that a sticker was put halfway on the supplement facts and halfway on the directions.

Initial review of Chaga Mushroom Supplements:
I’ve read how amazing mushrooms are for your body’s immune system and wanted to give these a try. Since I’ve just started taking them, all I can really say is that they are easy to swallow, and it is great that they give you so many in a bottle! A four-month supply is convenient and I’m looking forward to updating my review during that time period with my findings. I don’t have any specific health item I’m taking these for, but rather want to make sure I have no adverse effects when taking them while feeling healthy, and later down the road if I end up needing immune support, I’ll know I can safely take these.

There’s an additional bar code sticker (seemingly added by Amazon or someone in the distribution chain) it was placed where there is a gap between the edges of the product label, but is large enough that some of the text is blocked. I was able to remove it to find there is really nothing of substance that was covered up, but it is much easier to read when you can see all of the words.
The capsules are well formed. The contents have a distinct “mushroom” smell and I have tried them with no adverse effects, but the best I can do is 2 stars. There is just too many unknowns around the manufacturing and dates for me to be comfortable recommending the product. The label tells me exactly where it was made, but there is no lot number or anything else to be able to distinguish the timing of the production run. Is it fresh, old, stale? There is no way to tell and researching the brand name didn’t give me any additional information or confidence.

When I saw this Chaga Mushroom Supplement by the Wise Plant Store I had to order it. It is a very popular natural supplement in the North Country, where people harvest it off birch trees in the woods. This was my first time trying it.
I’ve taken 1/day for over 2 weeks now. It’s very easy to swallow in capsule form and has no after taste. You get 120 capsules which is a 4 month supply @ 1/day. That’s a decent value @ $18.95 at the time of this review.
These are manufactured in China of organic Chaga mushroom extract. Each capsule contains 500mg’s of product, of which ‘a minimum’ 150mg’s is polysaccharides. Interpret that statement any way you want.
