NatureMyst Hyaluronic Acid Supplement, with Vitamin C- this arrived safety sealed and expiration was 1+ yr which was good. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I like that these are vegan, third party tested, and there are no other ingredients in them besides a small amount of vitamin C. The C isn’t enough of what I usually take daily, so I have to supplement with that separately. Great these are made in the USA also.

Before I ordered this product, I didn’t know that hyaluronic acid could be vegan. Turns out the regular stuff is extracted from various animal parts, and the vegan-friendly version is usually produced in a bioreactor via microbial fermentation. Apparently some plants contain it as well, but since there’s no mention of sourcing for the hyaluronic acid in this particular product, I’m guessing it’s microbial. That’s still an improvement if you don’t want to ingest reprocessed animal parts. I’m not here to judge either way.
I’m ignoring the Vitamin C in this product, since most of us don’t have any shortage of that in our diets. That still leaves 250 mg of hyaluronic acid, which is enough to make a noticeable difference in joint mobility for me. Especially now that I’m getting to the age when I can’t just shrug off most physical issues, it feels like having the extra hyaluronic acid sloshing around in my joints maintains a cushion and protects them from damage due to lack of lubrication during my runs.
You do pay a bit more for this vegan product. That’s just how it is, and the markup isn’t excessive.

Hyurolonic acid is very good for your skin, especially for elasticity, I lacked the elasticity for a long time and would put a rubber band around my wrist for a couple hours, take it off, and I’d still have the ring showing from where the rubber band was for several hours. Once I started taking Hyurolonic acid the problem resolved itself. I’ve been taking it for about 20 years now and use it internally as well as I put it in my moisturizers for topical use. It plumps up wrinkles and if you take it long enough it eventually will help you look younger than your actual age. I highly recommend it.
