This seems to be a good quality Gut Repair blend so far.
– Capsules are easy to swallow
– No odd aftertaste or ill effects
– Price/Value is not good – overpriced for pro/pre-biotics
– Not sure if GMP certified and unaware if 3rd party lab tested (I haven’t seen the COA yet)
I haven’t had any problem taking these, but I’m only giving 3 stars for now due to the high price-per-serving and until I have a chance to view a COA from the company for this product. If/when I receive that, I’ll revise my review accordingly.

A large number of different bacterial species and plants are listed in the ingredients list – I feel more at ease being able to see them all. I usually see just “lactobacilus coagulans” and I do NOT react well to that one, it isn’t right for me! So, this item does NOT have that particular bacteria strain, and I am grateful!
For safety and shipping, there is a layer of shrink-wrap over the closed top so no spilling should occur. The cap is easy to twist open, not child-proof press-and-turn type, which makes it good for households without children, and the elderly. Boy, you would not BELIEVE how elderly-proof those “child-proof” bottles are! Under the cap, the top of the bottle is sealed with a plastic-like cover with solid glue. There’s even a thin cardboard layer between the plastic-y labeled side and the metal-foil underside! REALLY hard to rip up with fingernails, I recommend stabbing it with scissors or something. And there’s also a large cottonball on the inside!! The makers were VERY scrupulous about packaging to be shipping-proof.
As for how it tastes? I haven’t tried it yet!
Update – I tried it, and forget the taste, let’s talk about the SMELL!
There is A VERY STRONG GARLIC SMELL as soon as you open it, holy moly! Garlic or onions, one of the two. If you’ve ever bought onion dip in powder form to combine at home with sour cream? It smells EXACTLY like that. Actually, the smell actually contains the sour cream as well! From maybe powdered milk solids or something. It is truly astonishing!
The pills themselves are about 1 inch or 2.5cm long, in clear vegetable-protein capsules that have a faint orange tinge to them, visible only where the two halves overlap at the middle. On the inside, it’s clearly a powdered mix of various food-stuffs, mostly white with a faint yellow tinge – that HAS to be the onion.
Now, I LOVE onion dip, so not only did it make me hungry for chips and dip, it also made me bump up my vote for this product from 4 to 5 on the smell alone!
But! If anyone has recently talked to YOU about you having bad onion-y breath, you maaaay have to choose a different product, just for THEIR sake!
