Sometimes the brands of probiotics I try are so strong that I get unpleasant digestive effects from them, but I haven’t had anything like that happen with this one. The capsules are not overly large and are easy for me to swallow. I usually just take it with food.

There are hundreds of strains of bacteria in our intestines. Not all of them are the good kind. You will realize that if you have ever gotten discomfort in your digestive system. Bacillus Coagulans is a spore strain. It has the ability to stay dormant until needed so it doesn’t interfere with other probiotics. So why the distinction of ‘when it is needed”? Some of us have a digestive system dysfunction that causes bloat, gas and other Gi difficulties. This is the specialty for this particular strain of probiotics. It takes a while to notice the benefits but be patient and you will be happy. I use this strain occasionally and I find it very helpful. But as I said, it doesn’t work overnight. This company has been in the supplement business since 1992 and is based out of Miami. They have the cGMP certification and have full transparence of their brand and manufacturing. I highly recommend this brand and this particular probiotic but make sure to check with your health professional who has experience in probiotics and other supplements. Also make sure this does not interfere with your specific antibiotic or other pharmaceutical medicine you are taking.

I’ve been taking probiotics for ages and tried many brands. This one seems to be of good quality and I didn’t notice any bad changes taking them. All the information is printed clearly on the label except the expiry date which is printed on the bottom. I can’t exactly make the date out due to glitched printing. As I write this review this product and all other Supersmart products are listed as “currently unavailable” which is unfortunate. It appears to be a decent product and hopefully will be for sale on Amazon again.
